Tucked away in the mama-friendly Marina Mall is the oh-so-lovely Smitten Boutique – a tiny little slice of shopping heaven for kids and mamas alike. At Sassy Mama we’re not just personal fans of Smitten but also of its very chic owner Roshni (one of those effortlessly well put-together mamas we aspire to be), so we wanted to share this gem with those of you looking for some fun and funky pieces to jazz up yours or your little ones’ wardrobes.

Smitten is all about handpicked premium child and maternity couture, as well as designer women’s wear and accessories collections. And we have to say it truly shows that everything has been scrutinised first hand, because the brands and labels mamas will find here are unique. We’re talking seriously stylish wear like Seraphine Maternity (for any mamas-in-waiting yearning for a bit of Parisian chic), Agatha Ruiz de la Prada (cool kiddie gear- frequently seen on Matthew McConaughey’s daughter) and durable yet adorable shoes from PediPed.

Smitten Boutique is Roshni’s third child (she has two mini humans too) and was born from her frustration at finding inspiring kiddie clothes for her fam. Roshni’s passion for fashion clearly shines through, but not in a ‘that looks cool but who would ever wear it’ type of way. Being a mama herself means that she totally gets that style can never… ever… get in the way of comfort and quality. You’ve gotta love that. You can buy as many adorable princess dresses or lacquer shoes as you like, but if it ain’t comfy, all you’ll get in return is a tantrum.

And here is what we seriously dig about the whole set up, you won’t see all the other kids on the block wearing the same thing as your little darling because Roshni only purchases very limited quantities of everything.
