Grab your diaries and start making plans Mamas – as there is lots to keep the littlies (and you!) entertained over the coming week! From free afternoon movie screenings, to Ramadan play deals, to cultural iftars in the historical district, to antenatal classes for expectant parents, to evenings painting and sipping grape. Stay out of the heat and have some fun Mamas!

If you fancy heading out to an Iftar this Ramadan, here is one that really does stand out (for all the right reasons, Mamas!) Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding, based in the historical Fahidi District of Dubai, is hosting a Cultural Iftar every evening until 22nd June. The evening begins with the Athan (the call to prayer), before you are invited to tuck into a range of traditional Emirati Iftar dishes. You can ask as many questions as you like about Ramadan, the cultures and traditions of the UAE – and when you’ve finished eating, you’ll head over to the Diwan Mosque, before returning to SMCC for dessert and tea. It’s perfect for kiddos too Mama! Tickets are 155 AED per person (kids 7-12 years at 80 AED – and littlies free). Head over to http://www.cultures.ae to book.
