This week is all about mixing indoor and outdoor activities in the desert city! For those who want to brave the heat for some yummy braai, celebrate Braai Day at Emirates Golf Club, and if staying away from the heat is more your thing, then have some fun playing Monopoly – the SMILE edition or watch Star Wars at Steigenberger Hotel Business Bay with unlimited popcorns!
‘SMILE’ campaign at Majid Al Futtaim’s malls
Bring the kiddies over to play the much-loved board game designed exclusively at Majid Al Futtaim’s malls. This year the game features new elements that are inspired by the SMILE campaign such as the ‘Smile Cam’ square that projects the players face onto a big screen and the ‘Make a Smile’ square asks participants to spread happiness and make others smile. Mr. Monopoly is back but with a few tricks and surprises up his sleeve!
When: Tuesday, 9 May – Monday, 22 May (weekdays from 12pm-10pm and on weekends from 12pm-11:30pm)

Girls Club at Cloud 7
Wouldn’t it be lovely if your kiddos could get together with her friends and have a girly evening with lots of fun activities? Say hello to Girls Club at Cloud 7! Pamper your little girls with nail art, hair braiding and Creative Station activities, including Cake Decorating, Soap Making, Candle Making and lots more. It’s party time!

#BraaiDayDXB ft. Francois Van Coke & DJ Shimza
South Africa’s favourite activity, Braai Day rolls around once again to the lawn of The Emirates Golf Club. This time, it’s ‘Bring & Braai’ so feel free to pack your own meat or purchase some at the venue. In addition to the grill and sizzle, favourite South African dishes and brands will feature on the menus. Join the braai for a fun day for the whole family with activities for the kids alongside our SA community market and more. There will also be picnics areas, sports games and a South African community market, so join the rainbow nation for a yummy, laid-back day.

Valetura Watercolour Workshop For Kids
Get creative this week with watercolour workshop at thejamjar! Artist Sara Berti will teach your kiddies how to draw a portrait and paint a composition using the velatura technique with transparent glaze. Don’t forget to bring a black and white photo of choice (printed on A4 paper) to the workshop.

Movie Night on Tuesdays
Fill up on UNLIMITED popcorn and soft drinks before settling in for a fab movie night this Tuesday, mama! This week’s flick is the all-time favourite Star Wars – Ep.4 A New Hope (because every day is Star Wars day!). Screenings have included good old Breakfast at Tiffany’s and animated comedy Hotel Transylvania so watch this space!
