A few of our favourite things to do in Dubai this week in our picks for your weekly calendar.

Ramadan Kareem, Mamas! There is plenty going on this week to keep you and the littlies entertained, from Ramadan camps, to unique iftars, to the chance to shop and browse, to the launch of a surprisingly cheap play scheme, to a big release at the cinema! Don’t miss out on the last Marina Souq before summer, Mamas! Taking place in its usual spot in the Fishing Harbour in Um Suqeim, you can browse and shop from a tempting selection of fashion, accessories, home décor, and delicacies. Don’t miss the stunning range of dhurrie bags and kiddie storage bags by the brand Pushpanjali, which are top of our wish list for summer, both for storing away our toys stylishly and as gifts for fam back home!

Burger & Lobster Iftar

Looking for an Iftar with a difference? Why not break your fast (or join others doing so) at Burger & Lobster in the DIFC this Ramadan? Their Iftar menu includes a range of delicious bites to share amongst friends, including classic cheeseburgers, mini lobster rolls, lobster popcorn, soup of the day with brioche, and half pounder of lobster. We’re licking our lips just thinking about it, Mamas!

Cheeky Monkeys Ramadan Camp

The kiddos will enjoy every second of this Ramadan Camp, which is taking place at every Cheeky Monkeys across Dubai throughout the Holy Month. Choose from two time slots every week day – either 9am-1pm or 2pm-6pm – and drop off your littlies to have some fun. The camp is suitable for kiddos between 2.5 and 8 years old, with a range of organised activities and free play time in the brilliant soft play zones.

When: Sunday 27th May – Thursday 22nd June (Sun-Thursday, 2017, 9am-1pm or 2pm-6pm

Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar’s Revenge

Hide away from the steamy temperatures outdoors by treating the fam to an afternoon in the cinema – and with the release of Pirates of the Caribbean this week you’ve definitely got something to look forward to. Following the story of Captain Jack’s escape from the terrifying Captain Salazar (who is hell bent on destroying every pirate at sea), it isn’t for the smallest littlies, but those who have enjoyed previous Pirates of the Caribbean movies are definitely in for a treat.
