Located on the scenic coastline of Umm Al Quwain only a 45 minute drive from Dubai (mama we know how much the kids dislike long car jouneys!), Dreamland Aqua Park is fairly dated in comparison with some of the big new parks but it’s well maintained, clean, the staff are super helpful and there is plenty of shade and grassy areas which make it perfect for young park-goers. Unique features include a Dead Sea swimming pool for easy floating and an interactive kids pool with aqua play and 19 games options toddlers will love. Less busy than lots of the other parks, this little gem also offers unique wooden chalets for overnight stays – glamping UAE style – complete with barbecues and full board dining options. What’s more, the park is fully licensed so mamas and dads can enjoy a drink at the end of a long day in the water – or even in the water at the UAE’s largest swim up pool bar.
A 1 night stay in a wooden cabana costs AED 900 for a family of 4 during the week and AED 1200 during weekends and national holidays and includes access to the park and full-board dining (including a pretty impressive bbq dinner…mmm yum). Night tennis and moonlit swimming also available if you haven’t exhausted yourselves enough during the day.
