If you have a bit more time to spend and fancy really escaping from it all, the Talise Spa is a little sanctuary set amidst the tranquil waterways and tropical landscapes of Madinat Jumeirah.  Relax with a magazine by the incredibly zen-like swimming pool before enjoying a sauna, steam and plunge.  After your treatment there are a number of relaxation areas to hang about in before reality sets in and you’re back to the daily grind.  Not cheap but oh so worth it.
