Waitrose

The UK supermarket for the posh; or at least this is where Kate Middleton does her groceries, not that we think she does that too often btw… Waitrose has a great selection of British produce and gourmet foods. Their own private label is really good and best value for money once you enter through their golden gates.

All outlets have beautiful deli counters, bakeries and cooked food counters. And for mamas who eat pork, Waitrose has a big selection of hams and sausages.

Sassy Mama Tip: The Waitrose Organic range of organic groceries (such as soya milk, dried fruits, juices) tends to be slightly cheaper than the branded stuff and is equally good. Spinneys stocks some of it too… go figure.
