Indoor brunches in Dubai to try this summer

It’s time to take it inside, mamas! With the mercury rising, Dubai’s world famous brunches are no longer offering dining al fresco – but there’s still plenty of fun to be had. Brunching will pause for Ramadan but resume again afterwards so if you’re looking for a family friendly weekend plan then get booking!

Indoor brunch in Dubai: The Address Downtown Dubai

The Superhero Brunch at The Address, Dubai Marina, every Saturday 12.30 -3.30

Which kid doesn’t like dressing up as their fave superhero?! This mega family friendly brunch allows them to do just that, encouraging little diners to come in their fancy dress and putting on a really great themed afternoon. ‘Captain America’ showed us and are little super people (batman, superman and super girl) to our table where the aforementioned dynamic trio stayed for approximately 1 minute before running off to discover all of the cool stuff that lay in store. The great thing about this brunch? It’s all self-contained within interconnecting rooms so there’s (almost) zero chance of the kiddos getting lost – and if they are away from your table then we can guarantee they’ll be in a dedicated space complete with bouncy castle, movies, face-painting, kids food station and shows by Magic Phil.

While the kids play at saving the planet, the adults can enjoy a fab – but not too enormous- buffet with everything from carving station to peking duck, cheeses from every corner of the world to a decadent dessert station – all within easy reach (bonus when you’re a teeny bit greedy and want EVERYTHING!). The staff are dressed in capes and costumes and are all so happy to help kiddos get from a to b. It’s chaotic but brilliant – and most importantly – a great afternoon out for the whole family.

Eating inside brunch: Fume Dubai

Fume Brunch, every Friday & Saturday 12pm – 4pm

Sassy fave Fume has finally caved in to the family brunch crowd and it’s pretty darn great! Forget about kids’ menus, crayons at the table and “friendly staff”… Fume has perfected the ‘less is more’-concept.

With a cute kids buffet including kiddie will-eats like fish cakes, fried chicken, ‘punky carrots’ and ice-cream (lots and lots of ice-cream), a play area including cute toys and staff to supervise your little people and dedicated family tables, this is a perfectly chilled way to enjoy a family meal. Your little ones can grab a slider mid-play while you tuck into yours with a side of actual conversation (!).

We’ve been twice already and will keep coming back all through the summer. Plus it’s a definite steal by Dubai standards, 30 AED per Child…

Psst… Watch out for the Monstershakes (we mean it, they show no mercy)

British steakhouse in Dubai: The Rib Room brunch

The Rib Room, every Saturday from 12.30-3.30pm

There’s nothing better than brunch with the fam on the weekend, and Saturdays at The Rib Room offers just that. Settle in with a complimentary glass of grape juice for everyone at the table, while the kids enjoy the Sinbad’s Kids Club.

And the food… oh, the food! There’s the best of The Rib Room Tasting Menu or you could create your own off the a la carte dishes on the menu. It’s AED 295 per person for food, or AED 375 including house beverages. If it’s a special occasion, why not splurge for the AED 495 option which includes French bubbles? Ooh la la!
