Lettuce celebrate 10 years of Taste of Dubai this March at Dubai Media City’s Amphitheatre – you (and your belly) won’t be disappointed, mama. World-class chefs, food from the desert city’s most delectable restos, and of course, live music from the great Billy Ocean… you’ll want to buy your tickets ASAP for the foodie event of the year.
The 3-day festival kicks off on Thursday, 9 March, with entertainment from soul legend Billy Ocean. Bring your butter halves and the kids, because the fun doesn’t stop there: you’ll get to indulge in cuisine from 24 Dubai restaurants, such as The Weslodge Saloon, Namu, Ramusake, The Gramercy and Tresind. And all for as little as AED 15 per plate!
Our hearts beet for Brit chefs Michel Roux Jr and Gary Rhodes, who will both be in town presenting cooking demonstrations at the event. Jenny Morris (The Giggling Gourmet) will be there too, along with French pastry chef Eric Lanlard and Syrian chef and restaurateur Mohammad Orfali. If you’re obsessed with watching cooking shows, you’ll definitely want to be there to catch a glimpse of these celebrity chefs in action.
