Looking for things to do this Eid, mama? There’s loads going on and we’ve found the best family friendly events and offers, ranging from a new adventure park to a special promo at Ice Land in RAK. It’s all here in our Weekender!

Veggie tales

Ripe Market’s still running through the summer months, so you can still get your organic fruit and veg fix! Head on over to Sheikh Zayed Road where they’ll be selling everything from groceries to handicrafts from local Dubai artisans. (It’s a little hot, but good grub is worth it!)

No celebration is complete in Dubai without a few fireworks. This Eid, you’ll want to head over to Jumeirah Beach Road where they’ve prepared a three day display you won’t want to miss out on. Time to get the cameras out, mama! (Psst… if you’re looking for a festive Eid brunch, why not check out The Address at the Dubai Marina?)

On the ropes
Wire World Adventure Park’s opened at Dubai Sports World and it’s chock full of thrill-seeking entertainment for the kiddos: zip lines, rope courses, elevated platforms and more. Open from 11:30am-1:30pm every day, you can find more info on the website.

Pantry Café have put together a novel breakfast promotion, which features eight amazing dishes from all over the globe. Aptly named Around the World in Eight Dishes, you’ll be able to get everything from a delicious stack of Canadian pancakes through to a Cajun egg scramble. It’s an all day breakfast deal as well, which is always a huge plus in mama’s books.

Checked out the Dubai Butterfly Garden yet, mamas? While the Dubai Miracle Garden is going to be shut for the season, the gorgeous butterfly enclosure will be open all summer long (and it’s all temperature controlled, woohoo!).
