Compound living in Dubai is different by definition from living in compounds in other parts of the Middle East. In other countries the compound is about being secure but here it is all about shared facilities. We are going to have a look at a few options that are available.

Privacy with a pool and garden…

This lovely compound in Jumeirah 3 has four bedroom villas which are lovely and light. The villas have gardens front and back.

For the Sports Fan…

Sidra Village is an excellent compound in Umm Suqeim 2 and it has three and four bedroom villas. The sporting facilities and the security are great here. There is a tennis court, gym, squash court and temperature controlled pool all located in a leisure centre at the heart of the compound. This is a more traditional Middle East compound in terms of security and it is very safe for the kids to cycle round and run. There is some availability here at present so speak to Harry. Four bedroom villas are typically priced at AED 240,000 per year at present.

Great value and size is everything

Located in Umm Suqeim 2 these villas are a great size but slightly older. There are communal gardens, a tennis court, squash court and a shared pool here. The villas all have four large bedrooms, and great size main rooms.

Brand new

The brand new Oasis Villas are very smart and modern and contemporary. They are all built surrounding a central area which has a temperature controlled pool, a playground and a state of the art gym. There are varying villas built here and there is currently one available. Residents also benefit from a discount at the soon to be finished Metropolitan Hotel next door as well as tight security.

Traditional

These old fashioned three bedroom villas are located in Umm Suqeim 1. They are charming and a bit older but they certainly have charming gardens. There is a large shared pool and the rent is negotiable.

Barsha

If you are looking in Al Barsha there is great value to be had. These four bedroom villas surround a large communal garden with plenty of room for the children to run. There is a smart gym as well as a large temperature controlled swimming pool. Prices start from AED 180,000.

Jumeirah 1 Cracking compound

These villas are great and in Jumeirah 1. With five bedrooms and loads of space and light they have the use of a temperature controlled pool and a great gym.

Luxury on the Beach

These villas are superb and right on Kite Beach. They start at AED 400,000 with the beach facing villas a bit more. Each house is immaculately finished with modern finishings. There are also private pools and gardens. These villas also really enjoy an amazing roof terrace with constan onshore breeze.
