Summer says seaside stripes, bright blue skies and ice-cream pastels; it means fun and family and sunshine. Gap has launched the perfect summer 2016 collection, evoking the very best of the season with a range of snappy styles for mamas and kids. From colourful shorts and tees to beach dresses and must-have separates, the Gap summer 2016 collection is all about sand between toes and playing at the park under trees.

Sassy Mama Dubai and Gap Middle East got together for an afternoon of fun and adventure on Kite Beach, bringing together a group of inspiring UAE mamas and their gorgeous kids, dressing up, having fun and loving this season’s wardrobe essentials. The mission? To photograph some of the collection’s key pieces. Sounds easy right? Well, with 12 kids all running in different directions, the threat of rain (in April!) and a few meltdowns (the children, not us) it was no mean feat. But the sun and the clothes shone and we all had a ball, even if there were a few ice-cream bribes along the way…
