The Two Hour Workshop All Mamas Should Attend

Micayle Ducroq is a mama and a certified Health Coach and Life Coach. When she suffered from Post Natal Depression after the birth of her beautiful baby girl, she felt like there was no light at the end of the tunnel; ‘Here I was with a brand new baby, in a foreign country, no family or support around me, exhaustion at its finest, and my husband didn’t have a clue on what I was going through or how he could help me! It felt like I was dying from the inside. I remember the panic attacks, the lethargy, and the massive effort it took just to breathe.’

Micayle was able to turn her situation around and is now committed to helping other women do the same through her one-on-one sessions and group workshops – the next one, ‘Heal With Happiness’ is on 26th September from 10 am – 12 pm at Kids HQ (little ones can play for free too while you take some time, mamas).

In Micayle’s words; Somewhere during my downward spiral, I realized that no one could save me. I was going to have to step up and be my own hero. So I did.

This is how you can do the same, mama.

Life as an expat can have all sort of unexpected emotions rolling around, but the key to remember here is that your emotions originate from your thoughts. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or constantly comparing yourself to others, then an unhealthy pattern of thinking is going to make for a negative lifestyle.

Showing women that you can improve the quality of your life instantly, just by improving the quality of your thoughts is a pivotal concept and will change your life forever. I suffered from depression straight after the birth of my first baby, and I wish I knew then that just by thinking about my circumstances in a more empowering way I would elevate my life. This is also the driving force behind my coaching, just to be able to show and teach women that you don’t need to suffer or live in any kind of emotional pain, and that you absolutely have the power within you to improve every aspect of your life. Iconic women such as Oprah Winfrey, Maya Angelou, and J.K. Rowling experienced major low points in their life before they reached success and fame, and each person walking this planet has the ability to reach the levels of abundance and love that these women have reached and positively impacted so many others around the globe.

Here is how you can help yourself today, right now. One of the most common complaints I hear when people first meet me is that they say that they just feel stuck, they feel stuck in a relationship that’s not serving them, or a job that they dislike, but they don’t see how things could be any other way. Below are some tips to help you get into a new amazing groove.

You feel stuck when

  • You don’t know who you are, you don’t know what you’re capable of, and you get stuck in your limited perceptions of yourself and your reality.
  • You don’t want to find out who you are, and you won’t let yourself take the risk to push yourself beyond what you know. When you’re stuck on your story, stuck on your sadness and just stuck on being stuck
  • You live DOWN to other peoples’ expectation of you. As children we hear ‘don’t do that’, ‘you can’t do that’, or ‘you’ll never be that’

So what’s the anti-stuck?

Well, I have a few tips for you special lady, here they are. Read them, practice them, feel them and live them. Breathe life into this advise, and you will be unstuck.

TIP 1 Tell the truth. Tell the truth about who you think you are, what you want, what you’re willing to do and what you’re not willing to do. These are the truths that you have to tell yourself. As you do this, you will start to identify your excuses, your reasons, your rationale and your story.

TIP 2 Let go of all excuses. Be willing to fall flat on your face and look stupid with your dress over your head. Thats how you’re going to get unstuck! You have to be willing to do the thing that scares you. You do it by bursting out of the box, you do it by challenging the things that you believe about yourself and the things you’re been told about yourself.

TIP 3 You must be willing to be vulnerable. Until you’re vulnerable, you’ll never know what you can do and can’t do. You’ll never know what it looks like or feels like to stand on the victory that you’ve created for yourself within yourself. So if you want to get unstuck, you’ve got to be willing to be vulnerable.

TIP 4 Ask for help. Now this is one that we are not always willing to do, because if you ask for help, then you have to admit to people ‘I’m stuck’, ‘I don’t know what to do’, ‘I can’t do it’. This doesn’t mean you have to take every tidbit of advice that comes to you, including your mother and your grandmother.

To register your spot (and in order for me to make sure I have enough goodie bags to spoil all the mamas) please email micayle@micayleducroq.com, with the subject line Heal with Happiness, and just say ‘I’m in!’ I’ll confirm your place, and I look forward to seeing you there!
