Throughout Jumeirah, Umm Suqeim and Al Barsha there are a range of single-storey villas which are good starting villas for young families (no stairs – perfect for little crawlers!) and also for empty nesters. Most of these villas are a bit older and generally offer plenty of value plus with only one floor and less to keep cool there are good savings on DEWA generally. They often also have nice gardens too and people with pets also love them as they provide a good environment.

This is a much bigger three bedroom villa with a huge garden and a private swimming pool. It is priced at AED 250,000 but this is definitely negotiable. The house is also a good size and gets excellent light on a lovely street in Umm Suqeim 2.

If it is garden you want then this is your villa. It is set in a ginormous plot and has lawns and privet hedges galore along with 6 parking spaces. The three bedroom villa is currently under maintenance but enjoys three bedrooms with en suite bedrooms. The price is a negotiable AED 200,000 and it is in the handy Al Safa 2 district.
