‘My son loves going to school’. Mama Eman Osama tells us why she’s thrilled with The Childrens Garden Barsha

How did you first hear about your school?

Through my friend, she told me the school is amazing; you must go and see it! They have outstanding facilities.

What factors played into your decision to send your child to this school?

I like the curriculum, strong management, and leadership. The facilities are impressive and the well qualifies teachers made me feel so comfortable.

Did you take a tour of the school before making your decision? What were your first impressions?

Yes, the tour was fabulous and informative. I felt comfortable and at ease. I was sure and confident that my son would be very happy in this school.

How did your child adjust to the school? Did the school take any special measures to help with the settling in process?

My son loves going to school. He would wake up every morning and say “mummy wake up, it’s time to go to school. I love school”

The school really helped to settle my son, we were able to meet the teacher beforehand and were sent lots of information well in advance. We were sent the timetables, curriculum information and felt well informed.

What in your opinion are the three greatest strengths of the school?

The holistic approach

Friendly, calm and warm environment

The language options

How does the school include parents in the community?

Through events, workshops and parent teacher conferences.

How does the school keep you informed about your child’s progress?

We are kept up to date through emails, meetings and the school newsletter.

What is the number one thing you’d miss if you transferred your child to another school?

The friendly environment

What kind of child (or family) would you say would be the best fit for this school?

All children and families; the school is very inclusive.

What extra-curricular activities or out of school programmes does the school offer that you have taken part in?

There are many activities at the school. My son participated in the football club, cooking club and Zumba. He really enjoyed them all.

Brought to you in partnership with The Childrens Garden Barsha.
