The Bright Minds Summer Camp

The brightest little minds need a summer camp with a difference – all those days off school may sound like fun but curious kiddos need fun and stimulation – and we know just the place to find it! The Bright Minds Summer Camp for 2-5 year olds is all about making sure that the summer holidays are full of exciting activities and inspiring games. CreaKids Summer Camp

Pssst, mamas, the word on the street is that Ibn Battuta Mall is the place to be! Not only are there shops galore but the fabulous CreaKids Early Learning Centre and Play Zone offers kids between the ages of 3 and 10 years a whole lotta fun combined with developmental skills. Offering a Montessori and British curriculum during the school term, once that final bell rings this awesome space offers the kind of camp we wish was around when we were young.

With fun activities around themes including superheroes, firefighters, under the sea, around the world, construction, fun and fitness, knights and princesses and Jurassic world – each day will bring with it something new and exciting. Ductac Art Joy Summer Camp

If they’re happiest with a pencil or paintbrush in hand then allow your kiddos to experience the sheer joy of creating, unleashing their artistic potential and appreciating art with art joy-DUCTAC’s art camp this summer. They’ll not only get to explore different eras and styles of art but also learn creative writing skills, discover abstract patterns and optical illusions, recreate the genius of famous painters, create unique clay forms and have fun with origami, crafts and printmaking – all with weekly themes and artist-based days.

DuDive Gymnastics for diving summer camp

We’ve watched and marvelled as olympic divers have twirled and splashed into the pool – and now mamas – your kids can give it a go too! The perfect way for complete beginners to give diving a go, DuDive’s summer camps use trampolining, gymnastics and diving to work towards the DuDive assessment criterias (that’s basically smart talk for getting really good at diving). This is the only springboard and highborn diving club in the whole of the UAE and is all about helping build children’s self-confidence and water confidence whilst improving coordination, flexibility and spatial awareness (and diving of course). The camps give a great opportunity for intensive diving practice, with most children fast tracking through the lesson programme and are a great way to keep active over the long, hot summer months in the very very cool world class Hamdan Sports Complex. We love the sound of this camp – and we’d secretly love to leap off that really high board…

Emerald City Nursery Summer Camp

Want your kiddo to have busy days full of adventure and discovery, fun and games – plus a little learning thrown in the mix too mamas? Of course you do! Which is why the Emerald City Nursery Summer Camp might be just the thing to book over the holidays.

The thing we love most about this gem of a learning space? Their commitment to holistic development that includes organic veggie and flower patches, plenty of outdoor space, shaded sandplay and activities such as natural rock-climbing plus a whole lot more. Now we’re big fans of the Falcon Kids’ Club (don’t believe us? Check out our beach club roundup), and we’re so happy that they’re hosting a summer camp! With themed weeks such as Treasure Hunters, Tropical Paradise, Safari Adventure, Raiders Of The Lost Artefacts and Space Is The Place plus loads more, this camp offers 8 weeks of exciting and educational activities. Choc-full of arts and crafts, sports activities plus a cooking class every Thursday and an ice-cream party every Tuesday, there’s no way your littles are getting bored over the holidays! There’s no need to resort to screen time this summer mamas, those kiddos need to burn off some energy and we know just the place for them to do it!

Got a little traveller in the family? This fantastic nursery is celebrating multi-culturalism with their 8-week Around the World in 40 Days summer camp, which will take your tots to all corners of the globe without actually leaving Dubai!

From navigating the River Nile to experiencing the magic of Arabian Nights, celebrating a Mexican Fiesta to learning about the Arctic Wonders and even travelling the Orient Express, braving the African Wild, trekking the Rainforest and enjoying Outback Camping – each of the camp’s activities will focus on learning about the big wide world through play activities; think arts and crafts, food, music, role play and much more. One of our fave kiddie play areas, Kids HQ in Al Barsha, is currently undergoing a little facelift (and a huge upgrade) and will be offering summer camp to lucky tots aged 3 – 8. With everything from arts & crafts to obstacle courses, karaoke story telling to sand art and cookie decorating – plus plenty of play in their awesome space of course, you can guarantee that the kids will have a tonne of fun. Catering to kids aged between 3 and 13 years (boys up to 9 years), they’ve come up with over 50 (yes, 50!) activities to keep your little ones occupied and make it a summer to remember.

Parkour kids Dubai

Parkour Kids Summer Camp

Woohoo, mamas, this is the UAE’s first Parkour Summer Camp! Kids love to move, learn and play and these guys will teach them to do all 3 in a super cool way while exploring their environment. In a Parkour class kids learn useful skills like balancing, climbing, jumping, and crawling – taught by  qualified professionals who always prioritise safety first (no need to worry mamas). If your kids are climbing the walls at home, insisting on using every piece of furniture to jump from and generally thinking of themselves as quite cool then this is the camp to go for – Parkour is an incredibly fun activity that resonates with kids who are  naturally inquisitive about the world around them! The camps run daily from 10-3pm in a private indoor warehouse in Al Serkal Avenue (Al Quoz) where they’ll have all the cool equipment and obstacles set up. Summer Jam at thejamjar

Mamas, if you haven’t checked out thejamjar’s gorgeous new space then  you must. Now at Al Serkal Avenue in a gorgeous warehouse style set up complete with huge windows, lots of space and oodles of light – plus all of the paint and materials the kids could possibly want, the Summer Jam summer camp is perfect if you have a creative kid or budding artist at home. From learning to capture shadows to screen-printing, ‘drip, splash and splatter’ like Jackson Pollock to ‘up-cycling’, graffiti and a frozen monster sculpture workshop, thejamjar have put together the perfect programme of sessions to enable experimenting and learning technical skills through all sorts of mediums. This is a summer camp with a difference – made up of sessions from which to pick and choose. And while under 6’s have to be accompanied by an adult, parents can enjoy a DIY painting session while the kids attend their class. We love.

A range of fun-filled and educational activities for kids aged between 3 to 8 years old at the very cool Little Explorers space in Mirdif Town Centre. This camp has been designed specifically with children’s learning and development in mind and will include everything from dance classes to magic shows, arts and crafts to sports competitions and a different theme each week – Water Factory, Wild Wonders, Kitchen Superstars and loads more! Pottery for beginners – Yadawei Pottery/Soul Art Centre Summer Workshop

This pottery/dance/painting 2 week summer workshop sounds really fun – combining Yadawei Ceramics Studio in Al Quoz with the Soul Art Centre in Downtown Dubai and allowing attendees to discover both venues and lots of skills!

The program will cover the basics of ceramic art, from design to glazing – and each little participant will get to take 2 ceramic objects home to display proudly at the end. Every week all students will also get access to the Soul Art Centre to try their hand at painting and dance -just to mix things up a bit!
