Get your roly polys up and about at Madinat Jumeirah!

We like to move it, move it… yup we went through that phase with our tinies too, where nothing would stop them from belting (or indeed acting) this tune out. But if your little one is more of a sofa Sally than an active Annie, hop, skip and jump them on their way to Talise Fitness. At this Madinat Jumeirah gym, they’ll get to embrace their physicality with the Les Mills BORN TO MOVE classes, featuring five music-based movement programmes.

We’ve seen the research: moving helps reduce all manners of chronic health problems. Not only that, it helps with bubba’s academic life and gets them mixing and mingling with other kids – social success and new friends, woohoo! (Plus it expels all that energy so naptimes and bedtime get that much easier. Bonus).

Suitable for kids as young as two right up to age 16, the Les Mills programme offers age-appropriate movement to music. Which kid doesn’t want to have fun wiggling to Beyoncé or shaking it to Katy Perry? They’ll learn motor skills, improve their agility, balance, coordination, flexibility… the list of benefits are endless!

It won’t even feel like they’re “working” – who wants to “work out”, anyway?! – as all the classes are centred around fun and games. They’ll explore their physicality through stories, team-building, role-playing, problem-solving and of course, the magic of music.

So mamas, if your kiddo was born to move, then get them to Talise Fitness for a Les Mills class, stat. They’re going to have bundles of fun.

BORN TO MOVE is available at Talise Fitness, Madinat Jumeirah. To book, call (+971) 04-3666821 or email Click here to check out the May 2016 schedule.
