I’m in the mood for some colour this week and here’s how I am itching to spend the dirhams…
Clockwise from Top Left:
1 – Swatch Candy Bracelet Watch. I was strolling past Swatch in Marina Mall earlier this week, when this sweetie-inspired watch caught my eye. It’s probably a bit childish, but I think it would look great with a white dress this summer. It’s called Caramellissima, costs 250 AED, and is available at Swatch stores across the UAE.
2 – Benefit The Big Easy. I’m desperate to try Benefit’s brand new product The Big Easy; described as a ‘multi balancing complexion perfector”. The clever product evens out skin tone and conceals imperfections, whilst balancing skin and controlling oil. I am definitely going to have to buy this, so a review will be coming soon. It’s available at Sephora and Benefit counters across the UAE.
3 – Claire’s Floral Backpack. I can’t remember the last time I went into a Claire’s store, let alone bought something, but I have fallen for this pretty floral backpack. It ticks the box for the pastel trend this summer – and better still, only costs 145 AED from Claire’s stores across the UAE.
4 – Missoni Beach Dress. Our days at the beach are limited now the warmer weather is creeping in (although looking out the window today and you’d think it was still winter), so I want to make the most of the surf and sand in this pretty, pretty off-the-shoulder dress by Missoni. It’s reduced to 1248 AED (down from 3120 AED), which makes it even more appealing. Buy it online at Boutique 1 here.
5 – Make Up For Ever HD Blush. This new blush by Make Up For Ever caught my eye this week. There are some really pretty shades (I have my eye on Rosewood and Coral) and the formula has a very creamy, easy-to-blend texture that leaves a lovely (but natural-looking) sheen on cheekbones. Another one I’ll be reviewing properly soon. Buy it at Sephora across the UAE.
6 – Notonthehighstreet.com Moss Letter. Big 3D letters make a statement at home and these moss-covered letters are one of the more unique ways to do it. I absolutely love them. Available online at Notonthehighstreet.com, they can be hung, propped or stood up wherever you fancy. They cost £22 each (roughly 130 AED), with £30 international delivery (roughly 180 AED).
