Here comes our favourite part of the week! This weekend is filled with family-friendly markets and fun activities for grown-ups and kiddies alike – have a good one, mama!

Funventure Friday

Coca-Cola and Atlantis, The Palm have teamed up to create a beach party like no other at the Aquaventure Waterpark’s Funventure Fridays. Taking place this Friday, adults and kiddes alike can enjoy a jam packed family friendly Friday with activities from karaoke, selfie photo booth, tp Inflatable obstacle course and much more!

Potter’s Market

We can’t get more excited that the very first Potter’s Market in UAE is here! If free food, family friendly vibes and free pottery trial sessions all day sound like your thing, then this is the market to be this weekend – time to get creative, mama!

Market Outside The Box

Looking for a unique shopping experience this winter? Market Outside The Box (Market OTB) is back for its fourth successive year and bigger than ever! The pop-up market features a mix of independent local labels and global brands. Looking for a more relaxing day out? Catch the latest creative documentaries in the pop-up cinema, spend time in the chill-out zone or simply sit back and soak up the unobstructed views of Burj Khalifa and The Dubai Fountain. Don’t miss out on being part of this creative cultural movement!

Hop Fest 2017

Indulge in a picnic brunch between 1-4pm both on Friday and Saturday starting at AED 130 per person, which includes a hamper and picnic mat to set you up for the day, whilst listening to a lineup of live entertainment and selecting from over 30 varieties of hops and cider from Lakeview’s very own cider garden. There is more than enough to keep the little ones amused with Saturday welcoming both a magic and bubble show alongside a dedicated kids area equipped with a bouncy castle, petting zoo and face painting.

Etihad Museum

If you’re looking for a weekend more than just markets and shopping malls, then you should give the newly opened Etihad Museum a go, mama! The perfect place to take the older kiddos, the museum provides insights and understanding of the UAE’s past. The modern design of the museum (in the shape of a manuscript) also makes it the spot for family #selfies.

Free Mindful Parenting Taster Session

Psst… a Mindful Parenting taster session is happening on Sunday and here’s a reminder for you to register ASAP. During this session, Jo Jewell, Founder of Mindful Parenting UAE, will explain what Mindful Parenting is, how it can transform your parenting and give you practical skills you can take away and use immediately. You will also get the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the workshops and private sessions she offers both in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
