Taste of Dubai

Lettuce celebrate 10 years of Taste of Dubai at Dubai Media City’s Amphitheatre – you (and your belly) won’t be disappointed, mama. The 3-day festival includes entertainment from soul legend Billy Ocean. Bring your butter halves and the kids, because the fun doesn’t stop there: you’ll get to indulge in cuisine from 24 Dubai restaurants, such as The Weslodge Saloon, Namu, Ramusake, The Gramercy and Tresind. And all for as little as AED 15 per plate. See you there!

When: Thursday, 9 March (4pm-midnight), Friday, 10 March (12 noon-midnight) and Saturday, 11 March, 2017 (12 noon-11pm)
Where: Dubai Media City Amphitheatre
How much: Advance tickets start from AED 75, available here. Free entry for kids under the age of 12!

The Happiness FestivalThe Happiness Festival

The Happiness Festival is not just the theory of how happiness can impact your life but the practice! With seven streams of content covering the entire spectrum of happiness, wellness and well-being, there’s something for everyone. Whether your preference is yoga, mindfulness or just having fun – it’s all right there. The Kids Corner led by leading schools, educational and family psychologists and educators will cover yoga for kids, mindfulness, resilience, kindness, engagement and gratitude. Here’s to happiness for all!

When: Friday, 10 March (11am-6pm)

 Fairmont The PalmFull Moon Yoga at Fairmont The Palm

Calling all Dubai yogis! Head over to Fairmont The Palm for an evening yoga practice and enjoy meditation under Dubai’s night sky and let the bright full moon shines above and spectacular views take your breathe away. This 90-minute yoga journey is all about releasing what no longer serves us, that’s why all levels are welcome and will be carefully guided by three leading yoga instructors.

Splash 'n' Party

Splash ‘n’ Party: Holi Party!

Splash ‘n’ Party is celebrating ‘Holi Festival of Colours’. Little ones are ready to experience a thrilling water party featuring jugglers, water guns and balloons, dancers, stilt walkers, and much more. The Splash n Party Holi festival will have Bollywood dancers, jugglers, and a DJ on the decks, along with party food (yum). Making it a must-go-to destination for adults and kids alike, Splash ‘n’ Party will provide water guns and balloons to all children attending the event – woohoo!

When: Saturday, 11 March (3pm-6pm)
Where: Villa 1, Street 8A, Al Safa 2, Dubai
How much: Prices are 100 AED per child, 1 Adult is free for every 1 child paying – any additional adult will be charged AED 50

Children’s Art Exhibition

An exhibition dedicated to the imagination of children across the UAE is one you don’t to miss out! The paintings, drawings and installations which have been interpreted from books in line with this year’s theme ‘Journeys’. Out of 55 schools that were invited to participate in this year’s exhibition, art teacher Judy Bishop has curated the entries to 400 pieces, all with the aim of highlighting visual imagery through reading.

When: Friday, 10 March (10am-10pm) & Saturday, 11 March (10am-midnight)
