Happy Thursday! We can’t wait to share with you our favourite family activities for this weekend. From Yogafest ME 2016 and the Emirates Kids Marathon, to a Christmas Delight Market, there’s something for everyone!
Yogafest ME 2016
The Middle East’s favourite yoga festival YogaFest ME is back in Dubai this weekend! Bring the kiddies over as there’ll be dedicated Family Tent, with kids yoga classes as well as prenatal yoga, mother and daughter yoga, family yoga, and partner yoga among others. Festival-goers can choose from over 150 classes and workshops by local and international teachers, and attend lectures and concerts on healthy living, nutrition and yoga philosophy.

The Etisalat Dubai Kids’ Run 2016
The Etisalat Dubai Kids’ Run gives the whole family an excuse to take a break from their routines with a full day of fun-filled activities. The kids run is not only a day of exercising but a perfect opportunity to make new friends. Don’t worry if your little one is not a runner as there will be interactive shows and games at the Fun Fair. This event is spread across two days with the big run being on the first day and a free-for-all run on the second day. Time to get the family running!

Sleeping Beauty… and the magic Spell
This is not the Sleeping Beauty you already know as this one is comedy, action, romance, and fun all in one magical production! Meet Princess Aurora, her overprotective parents, magical fairies, and Maleficent (the evil fairy), and experience the magic in this contemporary twist on the classic tale. Sleeping Beauty and the magic Spell is an enchanted and memorable production featuring dance, music, and acrobatics – the show will delight audience of all ages.

Emirates Kids Marathon
The role of exercise might have a bigger impact that you think, mama! Campaigning with the slogan of a “Resolute and Vigorous No for Obesity”, Emirates Kids Marathon strives to involve children in this sporting activity that will boost their stamina and self-confidence. This event promotes parents to be more health aware and encourages the young ones to participate in community sports, leading them in the right direction of a healthy lifestyle.

Christmas Delight Market
Head over to The Lakes for a fun afternoon out at Reform Social & Grill. This outdoor event is a perfect way to enjoy the cooler weather. Start Christmas shopping from 50 Market Stalls with the latest fashion, jewellery, homewares and art. Expect entertainment for the kiddies on site, plus food and beverages by the lake. The weekend couldn’t sound any better.
