Cue the round of applause, mamas: we’ve survived another week! With Easter coming right up, there are plenty family-friendly activities going on in Dubai… and whilst the school holidays are here, make sure you check out our roundup of fab Spring Camps to make sure the kiddos are kept nice and busy!
Easter Kids Celebrations
On the hunt for a dreamy Easter treat? Fairmont’s Falcons Kids Club is putting together a complete experience, including games, face painting, magic shows, easter egg hunts, and arts and crafts. There will even be an Easter themed cooking decorating activity to make sure some edible masterpieces are being created. Plus, rumour has it the Easter Bunny will be diving in from the sky (#superbunny?!).

Kiddo Show: The Ugly Duckling
In case you didn’t already know, mamas – we are huge fans of The Courtyard Playhouse, and their improv shows are known to be extra fun! The classic tale of the Ugly Duckling is set as a loosely structured play, where the action is guided by the children in the audience… Their intimate theatre is the perfect place for interactive and engaging even the shyest of littles – yay! They even have two 12 year olds on stage.
When: Saturday, 26 March, from 1 to 2pm

Marina Souk Family Market
Easter activities are everywhere, mamas – but we want one that caters to the parents’ needs too! Marina Souq is spoiling us with all sorts of activities to celebrate spring! From KenziBox’s Easter Arts & Crafts Workshop, to a petting farm and pony rides (we’re waiting to see if they condone mamas on ponies…), there is plenty in store! And if the food wasn’t gorgeous enough, there’ll be plenty to buy too.

Shrek The Musical
We’re never ones to pass up a Broadway show, mamas, especially when it’s a hilarious tale! Based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks film that started it all, Shrek is coming to The UAE! Produced by Broadway Entertainment Group and NETworks Presentations, the show is set to entertain. With 19 all-new songs, dance numbers, fab costumes, and breathtaking scenery – this is one the littles will love!
When: In Abu Dhabi till Saturday, 26 March, 4:00pm and 9:30pm (two show times)

Strut that Stroller
Let’s take the stress out of the stroller hunt! Being a parent means there is always plenty of advice to sift through (lots to amuse and confuse a mama), so Stroller Souk is here to save the day! Held at babysouk’s warehouse, this event is designed to answer all the question you didn’t know you needed to ask! With live demonstrations, and brand experts on hand, we trust we’ll be well taken care of…
