Market OTB

Incase you have’t realised, we love DSF and all the crazy wonderful events it brings to our bustling city! Market Outside The Box is bursting with great brands, plenty of food trucks, a pop-up cinema, and a chill-out zone right in Park Central. The program is packed with activities, onstage performances (music, drama, dance and poetry), and there’s even a bedtime story for the kids!

When: Thursday, 21 to Saturday, 30 January (4pm – 10pm on weekends)
Where: Burj Park, Burj Khalifa, Dubai, UAE
How much:  Free entry!

Piknic Électronik

Piknic Electronik Dubai is back for it’s second season! The festival attracts all kinds of music lovers and families looking to enjoy the weekend and this amazing weather. Creative entertainment and activities (from face-painting and kiddie games, to yoga and pilates classes) go on throughout the event to ensure that there’s something for everyone. The little one’s Petit Piknic area even has bouncy castles!

When: Saturday, 23 January
Where: The Address, Montgomerie, Emirates Hills Dubai, UAE
How much: AED 200 for parents with children, sold at the door. Discounts for early birds!

Carnival at the Beach

With rides to enjoy, games to play and amazing prizes to win, this is DSF’s classic beach carnival. With a carousel for the kiddos, dazzling fireworks for the mamas, and enough toys to share, you know the whole family will be leaving happy (and full)! The unicyclists, fire jugglers, fire-eaters, contortionists, acrobats, and stilt walkers will give you plenty of reasons to stay throughout the day! Warning: candyfloss TBC.

When: Till Saturday, 30 January
Where: The Beach, JBR, UAE (fireworks at 8pm every Thursday, Friday and Saturday)
How much: Free entry, and carnival games and rides are between AED 5 to AED 20

Disney’s ‘Frozen’ Forest

Based on the “do-you-want-to-build-a-snowman” Disney feature, the ice rink at City Walk is transforming into Disney’s Sparkling ‘Frozen‘ Forest. Make the most of this winter wonderland (rumour has it, there will even be snowfall – YAY)! So charge those cameras, mamas, cause this is promising to be an enchanting (and picturesque) experience for the whole audience.
