Giant ball pit

Giant Ball Pit

Every mama who takes shopping seriously would know that retail therapy can be more tiring than a workout in the gym. We can gladly say the Dubai Mall’s latest addition is the solution for us to take a break from hitting the sales rail! With a towering mega structure, winding slides and a giant pit of soft balls, The Dubai Mall is taking the best bits of the playground and super-sizing them for a summer of fun! Customers who spend AED100 at any kids’ store in mall before will receive one complimentary session for a child to enjoy the attraction on the Lower Ground floor (PLUS a complimentary toy from The Toy Store!). Who says shopping with children in tow can’t be a blast?

When: Friday, 5 August – Tuesday, 30 August (10am-10pm)
Where: Star Atrium, The Dubai Mall

They sure will be happy to make friends and learn to think and create imaginatively. Save the dates!

Camp Play

Camp Play!

The Pull Up Project, a group of Dubai-based young adults, are launching a sports camp to help children heading back to school combat bullying — by playing quidditch (Harry Potter fans anyone?). Set up by a high-school team of basketball players from the Winchester School Dubai to combine their love for sport with socially rewarding causes, Visitors to Camp Play will be able to boost their self-confidence and fitness through  a variety of sports (football, basketball, yoga…you name it!) and get ready physically and mentally to head back to school.

When: Sunday, 14 August – Thursday, 25 August (10am-2pm)
Where: Dubai Sports World, DWTC, Dubai
How much: AED 350
