Art Summer Camp For Teens and Adults
There are so many summer camp options around the UAE but how about a summer camp that both your teens and you (hubby included, of course) can be part of? You can expect a wide range of fun activities from drawing, painting, sculpture, to pottery on the wheel and unconventional jewellery making, and if focusing on art concepts is your thing, some sessions will focus on examples from art history illustrating different styles and ideas. Who says summer camps are only for kiddies?

Sugar Art
Who’s in for a sweet treat this summer? We sure are! Head over to Dragon Mart 2 where you will get a taste of (literally) the live performances of traditional Chinese sugar painting! This traditional Chinese form of folk art will leave you and the fam in awe as the artists uses hot liquid sugar to design and create two-dimensional figures. Better still, delicious sweets will be served after the show – we love!

Summer is the time for the little hands to get creative! If your kiddies are up for the challenge, Maraya Art Centre is here to teach them how to stylise a metal wire self-portrait! A professional artist will guide them step by step on how to create their masterpiece with one single strand – it will sure make a fab home décor!

Recycled Everyday Sculptures
If you are looking for a fun, educational creative art workshop, we’ve got just the one for you! Head over to the Maraya Art Centre where kiddies will have an open discussion about recycle artists, compare them, and discuss their likes, dislikes and thoughts about this kind of art. And of course – an understanding of recycled artwork is not complete without making them! Let their imagination run wild!
