You are Invited: Open House at Inspire Nursery

Reputed as one of Dubai’s best pre-schools, Inspire Children’s Nursery cares for bundles as young as 3 months up to 4 years, offering the American Creative Curriculum with a touch of Italian Reggio Emilia principles. And when we found out that they were launching a unique OneTribe program focusing on peace education for the minis, we were more than a little excited. Starting our kiddos off on the right foot and preparing them for life is the ultimate mama goal and – with the world not always being such a friendly place –anything which promotes harmonious living gets a huge Sassy Mama thumbs up (or peace sign).

A first for the UAE, the OneTribe scheme will aim to promote acceptance and empathy and to get our little ones to understand the concept of peace through fun activities– including making ‘Peace Pals’ with children around the world – we say hooray to that! The kiddos will learn that a peaceful world is a better world on all levels, from understanding that bullying is wrong to learning to respect and be tolerant of other cultures. Research by organisations including UNICEF and Yale University shows that we can influence peace building through educating children as young as 2 years of age – and kids at Inspire Children’s Nursery will get the chance to put their minds to much more than macaroni necklaces and playtime.

The OneTribe initiative will be woven into daily life at the nursery – teaching our little people to give peace a chance right from their very early formative years. Mamas (and papas) will get the chance to tour the school and meet the teachers while the minis check out the new discovery zones and play areas. There’ll also be the opportunity to find out more about OneTribe, how it will play out and what the kids will be getting up to.
