Clarion School Story Time
In case you didn’t know, a fab new school, Clarion, is coming to our desert city in September! With a super-duper American curriculum, these experts are getting us excited with all sorts of events – and this week, they are offering us Story Time! That’s right, mamas, it’s time to bring the little ones along for an afternoon of storytelling, coffee and cookies… Sounds like a party to us! Plus, since Clarion is all about delivering a progressive curriculum to the children of Dubai, their experiential learning curriculum strives to help students gain a lasting understanding of all topics, so we’re excited to see how they bring story tales to life!

James and the Giant Peach Family Show
Travel halfway around the world in a giant peach full of friends, music and laughter with Roald Dahl’s classic tale! Looking for adventure? Follow James and his friends through a tale that will definitely keep the little ones on their toes! So what are you waiting for, mamas? Head over to DUCTAC and join in the adventure! With colourful costumes and props, you can be sure there’ll be plenty of drama and excitement to leave the whole fam entertained.

The Design Bar
The Design Bar is a new concept that aims to bring novel and eclectic concepts in homes, interiors and lifestyles. The event’s gorgeous displays are sure to attract plenty of buyers from retail brands and bloggers from the region, but also plenty of mama shoppers, on the hunt for personal home pick-me-ups. Speaking of gorgeous displays, we are in love with their Byron bay Hanging Chairs. An absolute dreamy element to any area (outdoor or indoor)! We can’t wait to check out what’s in store…

11,000 Free Burritos for Mamas and Kiddos
The biggest food giveaway the UAE has ever seen! Anything with Mexican food gets a massive Sassy Mama nod of approval. Taqado is an original home grown UAE concept, and is one of the fastest growing F&B brands in the Middle East. With free burritos being handed out across their 11 outlets, it’s no surprise. The focus for the people behind Taqado is, and always has been, creating and serving very good, authentic Mexican cuisine at an affordable price point – it’s an extra bonus that they use local ingredients, wherever possible. The giveaway is happening between 11am and 3pm, and takes place at a different Taqado outlet every day, for an 11 day period!
