Take the kiddos to watch this gorgeous festival of lights dance across our night sky! The city is going through it’s biggest (and our favourite!) shopping festival, and with it comes enough firework shows to keep the entire family amazed. Don’t worry mama, you can take in the sights and sounds from all over our beautiful city, just pick your favourite spot! If you’re looking for the top seats in the house, head to The Beach, JBR, Global Village or the Creek Park. We get to see these breathtaking views every weekend, throughout the entire month of January!

Disney’s Beauty and the Beast
The original, award winning, smash hit Broadway musical, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, is coming to Dubai for the very first time! Filled with all our favourite characters, the entire lavish set, and beautiful costumes (expect every little girl to want a yellow dress)! As a classic musical fairytale, we can’t forget the singing, the dancing, and the dazzling production numbers! So what are you waiting for mamas? Let the littles experience the full enchantment of Disney! A favourite for the whole family, make sure you book before it sells out!

Super Kids Nursery: Charity Family Fun Day
Super Kids Nursery’s next Fund Raising event is being organised for ‘Dubai Cares’ Charity to celebrate their 12th Anniversary. They are expecting over 1000 families, so it’s a great chance to meet with other mamas, too! The goal is to have all families enjoying fun activities, whilst promoting a multicultural environment for a good cause! The kids can enjoy face-painting, an Art Corner and petting farm animals, whilst we enjoy exciting raffle prizes, bouncy castles, and lots of food and beverage (okay, fine, we’ll share the food and bouncy castle)!
When: Saturday 9, January, from 1pm – 5pm

Dubai Shopping Festival 2016
Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) is back! Kicking off every January in style, this annual festival is a cause for celebration. This shoppers’ paradise is one you definitely don’t want to miss out on mamas! As the largest shopping and entertainment extravaganza in the Middle East, they are celebrating their 21st anniversary this Jan! From Fashion On Ice to one-of-a-kind gifts from local designers, to shopping apps (download the new #MyDSF 2016 Offers app!) to the gorgeous firework display. Plus, you can try your luck at one of the daily raffles with prizes that include everything from cash to cars (now, wouldn’t that be a nice start to 2016)!

The Farmers’ Market on the Terrace
The Farmers’ Market is back for their first event of the year! Farmers set up from 7am on a Friday morning so mamas can get their shopping done nice and early. Or head over a bit later in the day with the whole family, and get your hands on some freshly baked goods from Baker & Spice Dubai! There will be all kinds of breads and pastries, plus seasonal fruit from the region. You can be sure that everything is super fresh, and free of all unnecessary chemicals! These organic veggies come directly from farmers, so you know that you’re buying the very best, freshly picked products.

The Ripe Market
Looking for more places to get your local food fill in this new year? Continue your Friday morning of food shopping and head to the Ripe Organic Stall. The littles can enjoy the petting zoo and pony rides, whilst we enjoy the fresh food at the Farmer’s Market and live music! With over 100 local businesses, including foodies, artisans, designers, jewellers, entertainers and live acoustic musicians, there is something for the whole family! From drinking fresh young coconut water, to buying handmade art and engage in a cooking class, and yoga activities, this is an event you don’t want to miss out on mama!
