You’re Invited: Sassy On The Sand

Join us for our first event of the year!

Not sure what you’re doing next week, mamas? Well mark Tuesday, 1 March in your diaries because Sassy Mama Dubai is partnering with Etisalat Beach Canteen and Dubai Food Festival to bring you ‘Sassy On The Sand’, a fun-filled family afternoon on the beach! With stacks of mama and kiddo-friendly activities at an amazing location in the heart of Kite Beach, we’ve teamed up with some fab partners to put together an amazing array of FREE activities – so if you’re not there then you’re definitely square (sorry, couldn’t resist)…

Want to know what we’ve got planned? Here’s what you can look forward to mamas!

Kicking off at noon, the jam-packed day will include canvas painting for the little ones with thejamjar, seaside-themed craft activities by Kenzi Box and ‘something cheeky’ from our fave party planners Cheeky Little Events – who are also offering a soft play areas for you to let the kiddos play in while enjoying some of the mama-focused activities – hooray! At 12.30, Chef Manal will be on the main stage – cooking up a storm in her live cooking session, followed by Yoga by Alina at 2pm, a super cool yoga class for mamas and kids on the sand (well actually on very stylish BumpaMats – which will also be available to purchase on the day!).

Greenheart Organic Farms will be sampling some of their fabulous organic produce and getting the little ones involved in planting their own greens, Kure Beauty & Spa are planning a treasure hunt with a difference (plus scenting our world with gorgeous essential oils), there’ll be mini-mani/pedis by The Nail Spa, hooping with Flowground after 4pm, parkour demo’s and classes by ParkourDXB  and SO much more!

There’ll be pumping exercise classes al fresco – brought to you by Dubai favourites FlyBarre at 3pm and Physique 57 at 5pm (make sure to wear something comfy mamas!),  story-time with BookMunch at 4pm before another Yoga session by Alina at 4.30 and the cutest kiddie swimwear fashion show by Snapper Rock (with the chance to win prizes and indulge in some retail therapy) and the chance to get crafty and creative with Kids HQ who are offering everything from t-shirt painting to glitter tattoos. 

Of course, Sassy On The Sand wouldn’t be complete without some delicious nibbles – and luckily The Beach Canteen will have a whole host of vendors to keep you and the fam fed and watered. Oh, and to top it off, there’ll be goodie bags from My Organic Baby Shop (make sure you get there in good time to snag one mamas!).

Sassy On The Sand will wrap up with sunset at 6pm – but don’t forget to say hi to the Sassy Mama team before you go – we can’t wait to meet you all!
