Santa Claus Is Coming To Town
The Holiday Season just wouldn’t feel right without a visit to Santa and if your littles are keen to sit on his knee and share their Christmas wishes (or try to convince him of a place on the nice list) – here are 5 places to find him, mamas!
Santa Claus is coming to town – and I don’t know who’s more excited, me or the kids!
A real Dubai institution – every year Santa and his team travel all the way from the North Pole to Dubai where they take up residence in a sparkly little grotto and create a lot of Christmas cheer. This is one not to miss, mamas, purely to see the look on little faces when they catch sight of the big man in red and step inside his magical home. Make sure you get there first thing or right after school to avoid enormous queues!
AED 60 per child, inclusive of a cuddly toy and photo with Santa, free gingerbread decoration area and a raffle coupon for a chance to win one of two prizes with Lufthansa German Airlines plus many more offers.
Until 24th December during mall opening hours.
What could be cosier than snuggling up with Santa for a story telling session? On December 7, 14 – 16, and 21 – 25 December kids are invited to join the main man at the resort’s festive grotto for a few tinselly tales. And the best bit? It’s totally free! The hotel is also offering all kinds of fun festive activities for the kids in the run up to the big day – from kids club shenanigans to gingerbread house decorating – plus festive brunch on 22 and 25, December – they’ve got it all wrapped up.

We’re big fans of Dubai Garden Centre and their new Saturday souk – especially now that it’s taken on a festive theme for the rest of December. From market stalls to delicious food and a really lovely vibe, there’ll be so many free activities for the kids to enjoy too plus the chance to visit Santa in his grotto and get a very special gift. Magic.
Saturday 16 & 23 December. Free Entry. Dubai Garden Centre Sheikh Zayed Road.

Wrap up warm and head into the snow for a truly magical grotto experience. Ski Dubai is putting on Disney’s Olaf’s Frozen Adventure which includes a meet and greet with Santa Claus in his cabin plus free gift and a lovely hot chocolate to warm you up too. And if you want to make more of the snow then each ticket allows you to upgrade to Polar and Polar express which includes snow park entry and visits to the Ski Dubai penguins for a minimum fee. We can’t imagine anything more festive than being surrounded by snow, mamas!
AED 140 per child, until 24 December.
Santa on an abra? Yes please! For the ultimate Dubai twist on the traditional then head to Madinat Jumeirah where each year your kids can enjoy a winter wonderland complete with falling snow, snow fight zone, winter market and even a little snow train for smaller kids. And of course, what would a winter wonderland be without Father Christmas? He’ll be there daily between 5pm and 7pm – you can even book an abra tour with him (or one of his lookalikes anyway, the real Santa is VERY busy at this time of year).
December 15 – 27, Thursday – Saturday midday until late.
