An incredible support group for parents of babies born too soon, Small and Mighty is run by mama Joanne Hanson who found herself with nobody to turn to after her little boy was born ten weeks early. The group offers support and care to those families currently in NICU or who have recently come home – they are not doctors, nurses or counsellors but mamas who have experienced first-hand the NICU journey and want to help. The group meets regularly to discuss the progress of their mighty little people and chat about everything from where to buy teeny tiny newborn clothes to sourcing gorgeous handmade incubator liners.
