We’ve spent hours drooling over the gorgeous silks and laces in AP, Dubai Mall – and a few more hours hinting to the husbands that this is the place to go if they want to buy some very special lingerie (there’s an anniversary coming up and getting that pink and black box is high up on our list). Known for being a little bit naughty, these guys put the x in luxury – and they’re expensive (hence a great gift if you can’t justify buying for yourself!).

Apples & Drawers

If mama can’t get to the lingerie store then the lingerie shall come to her. One of our very fave online retailers, apples & drawers is the perfect alternative to trawling the malls (just be warned, you’ll want to buy everything on the site). Founded by mama Priya Fernando whose mission it is to bring the bet of bras, bottoms (drawers), sleepwear and ‘sweet little nothings’ right to your door, this custom online boutique has the most gorgeous collection of pieces from well-known and up-and-coming lingerie labels. A special mention to the sleepwear (we’re obsessed with the cosabella printed slip and can imagine nothing more heavenly than lounging in a courtyard over coffee wearing the banana leaf robe). Calvin Klein Underwear

Makers of the softest, stretchiest bras and bottoms (we’re talking from experience), the Calvin Klein range has everything from your day-to-day essentials to prettier/feminine options if you want something special. We love the bralettes and triangle bras in delicate lace or mega soft stretch fabric that’s ideal for t-shirts and figure hugging clothing. Oh, and the swimwear is gorge too, mama!

Chantelle

What the French don’t know about lingerie really isn’t worth knowing – so we were MEGA excited when Parisian brand Chantelle recently opened its doors in Phase 2 of City Walk. From ‘sexy’ to ‘sport’, ‘t-shirt’ to ‘push-up’, there’s everything you could possibly want here in a range of sizes, gorgeous colours, styles and fabrics and with panties and sets to match. Need a little shapewear for that LBD occasion? Not a problem. And luckily for us, there’s beachwear too!

La Perla

SO much more than a lingerie store, La Perla is a luxury Italian brand representing all that is feminine (and gorgeous). Okay, so it’s not cheap, but if you want underwear, beachwear and sleepwear that’ll make you look and feel great and that are beautifully finished from the finest of fabrics then this is the place to go. The Dubai Mall location has a lounge area dedicated to handmade designs and bespoke creations if you are after something completely unique.

Marks & Spencers

Good ol’ M&S – if you’re British then you’ll know what we’re talking about – this brand from Blighty has been many a mama’s go-to for all things underwear for years. With stores all over Dubai you can get everything here – from packs of knickers (thongs to Brazilian to boy-shorts) to cute lingerie sets, t-shirt bras, nursing bras, sports bras and even training-bras for when your little girls grow up (sob). We love their cashmere PJ’s and supermodel collaborations (yes, if wearing the bra gets us a little closer to sm status then we’re all over it!).

Oysho

Fun and affordable, Oysho offers lingerie, gymwear, sleepwear, beachwear, accessories and footwear. We love their basic lace collection and organic cotton range – and if you’re expecting or breast-feeding then the maternity bras are so simple but so cute (and won’t break the bank!). From triangle bras to push-ups, lace to florals, halter to strapless – Oysho is perfect whether you’re looking for pin-up perfection or no-frills everyday undies!

Rigby & Peller

There’s so much more to this luxury store than making the Queen’s bras and Kate Middleton’s maternity lingerie (although that’s pretty cool). Recently opened in Dubai Festival City, Rigby & Peller stocks carefully curated underwear from brands including Prima Donna, Marie Jo, Andres Sarda and Aubade in cup sizes A to K – plus maternity bras and swimwear too. Specifically known for their amazing bra-fitting service (by-bye unseemly lumps and bumps), apparently they’ll also be introducing a Rigby & Peller 3D mirror to create a 3D model of the upper body, recording over 140 measurements in less than a minute – and resulting in your perfect bra size. Hooray!

TKD Lingerie

While this gorgeous little boutique in Jumeirah specialises in beautiful bras for larger busts (D-KK cup – sadly not ours), their range of sleepwear by Cyberjammies is so cute (and wearing old t-shirts and husband’s boxer shorts just isn’t okay anymore). They also do feeding bras that don’t look like something from the 1940’s – plus they’ll also measure you up properly (even if you aren’t buying) – so that you know what bra size you should be going for. Victoria’s Secret

Will wearing the underwear make us look like one of the Victoria’s Secret models? Maybe not – but it’ll make you feel a million dollars anyway. The VS range is full of colour (if you’re sick of black, white and neutral), it’s fun and affordable too. Okay, so the sizing can be tricky to navigate but it’s worth going in to try a few – plus their sports bras are really good (and their online store has fab beachwear and AWESOME bikinis).
