What can be more British than a street party in the glorious sunshine? This one is for all the British families (and others if you want to experience a bit of British lifestyle), mamas!
Put up the bunting, pull out the trestle tables and celebrate UK-style as DUKES Dubai brings the traditional Great British Street Party to Palm Jumeirah on November 18.
Union Jack flags will be flying throughout the resort and two giant tables, measuring 1,000ft in total, will stretch from one end to the other, with favourites from Blighty packed into every corner.
Tuck into a wide selection of British culinary delights. There will be ‘bottomless’ picnic baskets filled to the brim with delicious delicacies including, sausage rolls, quiche, sliced roast beef, Scotch Eggs and pickles. While those with a sweet tooth can enjoy traditional sherry trifle or delve right in and make your own Eton Mess.
And no street party would be complete without music and there will be a live DJ on hand to fill the air with British classics, from The Beatles and Rolling Stones, to Oasis, Pulp, Blur, Adele and Ed Sheeran.
