With every passing year the number of pets abandoned in the UAE is sadly on the rise. Heard of Adopt a Friend, mama? It’s a group of volunteers who aim to raise awareness on the plight of UAE Specials and help find home for pets that have been abandoned. To celebrate all these wonderful dogs and help more find loving homes, Adopt a Friend in association with Howl and Growl, PARA UAE, & Al Mayya, has organized the first ever Doggy Adoption Day for this May 11.
Happening at Toil and Tinker, Al Quoz, this event promises to be a fun-filled day for dog lovers, families and their beloved pets. Owners and families can proudly parade with their fur babies, the day will also include an adoption drive, Educational Material on dog welfare & adoption, entertainment, food trucks, and other family-friendly activities!
We’re not sure anything compares to the unconditional love, loyalty and cuddles we get from my rescue dog. Archie, Murphy, Bear, Togo, Caesar, Asha, Muffin, Eggnog, Marley, Zorita and their many friends say are waiting (with wagging tails) to see you at the event! Change their world and open yours to them. Trust us, you will not regret it. Rescued pets make the best pets!
