This clinic is headed up by British paediatrician Dr Keith Nicholl – and if you want a highly experienced, old-school approach to healthcare, this clinic is a very sound bet (you only have to mention Dr Nicholl’s name in Mamas circles to hear the recommendations come flooding in!) But it isn’t just kids that are catered for at the Jumeirah Beach Road location, as they offer general appointments and specialist services for adults too. Definitely a healthcare gem!

And that’s exactly the case at familyFIRST, located on Al Wasl Road which is led by specialist obstetrician Dr Farnaz Ahmed. Healthbay Polyclinic
Healthbay is one clinic that can be with you every step of the way, Mamas – right from the days of early pregnancy for those first obstetrician appointments, to antenatal classes with your husband when your bump gets bigger, to popping in to have your baby regularly weighed, to appointments with a pedetrician as your child grows up. A special mention goes to the brilliant midwife service, which offers experienced lactation advice (breastfeeding isn’t always easy, right Mamas?), packages of home visits when your baby is tiny, and regular baby clinics to check everything is going swimmingly with your new bundle of joy.

Infinity The Family Medical Clinic
Live in Jumeirah, Mama? Infinity The Family Clinic first opened its doors in your ‘hood in 2007 – and it’s a great option for family medicine ever since. Want a local clinic, Mama? Perhaps one you can walk to – or at least swing round the corner to in the car? If you live in one of the Dubai areas with a Mediclinic, you are in luck, with eight community clinics scattered across the city.
