Summer’s approaching and that means that we’re all looking for ways to stay entertained indoors, especially with the kiddos out of school. If you’ve got a bundle of energy disguised as a child, why not sign them up to FitRepublik’s sport camp to keep them out of the sun and active?

Perfect for children aged 5-14, your tots will be able to choose from a range of fantastic classes at this Olympic-level facility that’s got Dubai’s fitness fans talking. We’ve raved about their awesome mama and bub facilities before here and they’re beefing up their offerings specifically for your littles, covering gymnastics, martial arts, functional training and aquatics. Roly Poly Ollies and Olivias can flip out at their General Gymnastics and Tumbling courses and little ninjas can pick up Parkour, which will see them scaling walls and dodging obstacles in no time (better break out that Spiderman costume mama!), while Tigger fans will love the trampoline sessions. At the end of an action-packed day, the kids will be able to unwind and stretch at Kids Yoga, leaving them calm and chilled out before collection (we hope!).

If the Floyd vs. Mayweather fight had your kiddo hooked, they can test the waters at boxing alongside other martial arts forms like wrestling and Muay Thai. And little swashbucklers will be able to beat the heat at pirate inspired aquatics classes as well as use a Wibit (mega cool piece of kit) to play on the water’s surface. Just one of the many reasons why FitRepublik’s kicking butt as a fab fitness centre – they’ve got facilities that other centres just don’t have!

So, let’s share the nitty gritty. The camp runs five day camp sessions starting with the week of 5 July until 27 August, from 8.45am till 2.15pm every day. It’s all supervised and run by their extremely professional trainers; you can either sign up for a weekly session at AED 950 or trial it first with a day session at AED 270. You don’t have to worry about packing them a lunch either; their in-house resto Natalie’s Café will prep them a healthy meal, drinks and snacks – they’re going to need to refuel after burning off all that energy after all, mama! Oh and they get a camp t-shirt as part of the deal (nothing like belonging to a gang right?).

Registration has just opened up so head over to www.fitrepublik.com/#contactus and drop them a line saying that you’re interested in their kids summer programme. Who knows, after a day or two you might just be picking up your own little Olympians.
