Let the little tribe run wild
Whilst all the gorgeous Spring clichés don’t quite exist in Dubai, we are still more than happy with what our dreamy desert city has in store. The new season brings with it warmer weather and a couple of weeks of Spring Break holidays that have us all hunting for the next best thing to keep the little ones busy while still enjoying the outdoors!
Our solution for you, mamas? CAMP, of course! Little Folks Art Camp by Inspire Children’s Nursery makes school hols fun and is perfect for kiddos from as little as 3 months up to 4 years. They are here to support us right through those early learning stages, and those ‘school’s out’ days. Phew!
We asked for unique and we got exactly that: with pottery sessions, mask making, featherwork and pebble painting, the camp focuses on exploring the indigenous folk art of the Aztecs of Central America and the Aboriginal cultures of Australia! They are looking to truly expand the horizon (way past shopping malls and iPad screens), and help our little ones engage with other littles through music, dance, story telling, puppet shows. Their US Creative Curriculum and Emilio Reggia approach, explores everything under the sun – from health, wellness and extracurricular activities, to Arabic and French classes. The curriculum coordinator has over 25 years of early learning experience and their expert focus is on art therapy and expressive arts. Perfect!
With a nature hunt promising to form a bond with the outdoors, and plenty of fun with organic materials (brushes, feathers, clay!) – we’re sold! In fact, with Yoga sessions, and Jewellery Making Classes, we’re pretty keen to join in ourselves!
