This fantastic market is back for another round at the charming fishing harbour in Umm Suqeim 2. Held on the 13th May between 9am – 8pm, it’s all fully air-conditioned and there’s parking nearby. With 30 designers on board (for mama, home and bub) as well as baked goodies from Baker + Spice, here’s my fave picks below…

Biddoo

girls with butterfly costumeI’ve got a lot of love for this award-winning kiddos toy company, where creativity is absolutely paramount. Their beautiful products are all about quality entertainment with a massive range of toys ranging from DIY ballerina tutus to origami animal sets. While I’m not sure if anything we’d make would look nearly as fab as the photographs, it’s a great way to get your littles imaginations sparking.

Jasmine Leaf Creations

Their beautiful semi-precious pieces are definitely ones you’ll be hard pressed not to make a beeline for, whether you’re looking at their tasseled bracelets or impressive carved jade pieces.

Jules and Juliette

This beautiful French chic kids brand is one that’s a surefire hit with families everywhere. Not only do they create gorgeous summer clothing like the peekaboo liberty print dresses above, they also do beautifully simple jammies and swimwear for the littles as well. With clothing for tots of all ages, head on over and make sure your kids look the most sophisticated on the block.

Keen Bags

Created from gorgeous ghutrahs found in souqs all over Dubai, Keen Bags repurposes them into waterproof totes perfect for the beach or standard kiddo chaos. They’ve also got a range of fun clutches and zip wallets, all decorated with Hamsa, Buddha, stars and more motifs. (I’d like three of everything, please.)

Shenouk

If your home needs a splash of colour, there’s no better place to head than Shenouk. With a number of block-printed linens, dresses, tablecloths, cushions and more all sourced from India (specifically, Jaipur), they bring a dose of cultural vibrancy to your every day life. I’m definitely looking to get a bedsheet or two for my horrifically dull bed.
