It’s hot out there mamas – but those kiddos need to get active and we know just the place they can do it while keeping their cool. Dubai Ice Rink’s Summer Skate School kicks off on Sunday, 10 July and is accepting littles as young as 3 years (so cute) onto the ice. Whether they’re new to skating or they’re keen on perfecting their twirls, the Summer Skate School offers 4 days of lessons (30 mins each day) followed by a 15 minute game session AND a 1 hour 45 minute public skating session (where you could get your own skates on and join in, mama)… hooray!
Little skaters will be kitted out in skates and a helmet to keep them safe (and warm) and will be expertly guided through everything from learning the basic skills (i.e not wiping out) to building confidence on the ice.
If you haven’t checked the Dubai Ice Rink out yet, mamas, then you (or rather the kiddos) are in for a treat. An Olympic-sized rink with the opportunity to skate under gently falling snow (yes, it’s true – at certain times it actually snows), this is the perfect place to be cool this summer and hang out (or glide around) with new friends.
And what’s skating without a bite and a hot chocolate afterwards? For an extra cost you can add a meal at one of the ice rink’s partner restaurant outlets. Perfect. It’s time to get your skates on!
Dubai Ice Rink’s Summer Skate School is taking place from Sunday, 10 July – Wednesday, 31 August, 2016 and is suitable for kids aged 3 years and up.
Cost: AED 500 per person including 4 days of Summer Skate School (30 minute lesson each day followed by a 15 minute game session and a 1 hour 45 minute public skating session. Skates and helmet included.)
