It’s time to discover your inner zen with Mum And Baby Yoga in Downtown Dubai and Dubai Marina. The classes involve lots of calm stretching, toning and relaxing, all involving your baby and helping to strengthen your bond! This class is designed for newborns (6 weeks old) until 12-months-old. No prior experience in yoga is needed for Mamas (or babies) so don’t be scared if you can’t touch your toes. The perfect way to get your body back into shape – and you’ll get to meet other like-minded mamas too!
Kindermusik classes are run from the basement of a rambling villa in Umm Suqeim (which is kinda cool!). Offering music based playgroups for newborns up to 7 year olds, Kindermusik is a great way for kiddies of all ages to interact with music and enjoy its benefits (rather than be pushed into being polished performers).
The core belief of the Kindermusik approach is that all children are musical and that the parent is the child’s first and most important teacher (no pressure, mamas!). A great newborn activity for mamas aching to get out of the house!

With classes for little people aged between 6 months – 2 years, Toptots began in South Africa and was developed by a team of professionals, including speech therapists, occupational therapists, music specialists and teachers. Impressive right?! Each class loosely follows the same routine (which includes teaching little ones ‘tidy up time’ – hooray) and always incorporates the chance for mums to talk about their babies, to tell their babies how much they love them (expect tears at this point…from the mamas) and a visit from the Toptots puppet Tom-E. There’s also music time, exercise, parachute, gross motor activity and creative time where you might be digging for dinosaurs in a tub of rice, bubbles, feathers or jelly!
