Ladies of leisure – we wish! Do you find yourself running from school drop off to the supermarket (then back for something you forgot), from playdate to work and everywhere in between – with kids in tow? We hear you ladies and you are not alone! A mama’s daily grind is non-stop, so why hasn’t anyone found a solution to ease our mobility strains without compromising the safety of our children? Well, someone just might have… because a new car seat-stroller is about to make your life a lot times easier. We promise.

The Doona car seat, from Simple Parenting is an infant car seat with integrated wheels (!), designed with the primary goal of providing parents a safe, practical and stylish mobility solution for their babies, both inside and outside the car, and we are hooked!

The seat magically turns into a stroller the minute you hit the pavement, so you can literally get out and go. No more lugging heavy car seats (Doona is a real light-weight at 7kg) around or clipping onto impossibly difficult adapters. With the Doona, in one swift movement, the wheels are released and the car seat has been converted into a stroller – hooray!

The Doona is mama-friendly too with an easy instant fold mechanism and a compact design so no more overflowing car boots. Phew! This seat-stroller is suitable for babies from birth to 13KG. It is made using baby safe (PVC and BPA free) materials (tested and certified) and fitted with a fancy, orthopedic designed inner cushion to support the baby. The cushion is anti-bacterial and hypoallergenic, with humidity and thermal regulation, so you can be sure your little one is snug as a bug. When in a car the seat is secured with a 3-point seat belt or you can go for the Doona Isofix base to make things even easier.

Let’s get down to business now mamas, you can get the Doona from Just Kidding for AED 1,895 including a seat protector, insect net, sunshine extension and wheel covers. There are several colours for style-conscious mamas to choose with cute names such as night, dune, love, sweet and fresh (to mention a few!). There are also many optional accessories that you can buy including rain covers, a parent console and a travel bag. The attachable changing bag will definitely be top of our wish list – why do babies need so many things for short outings?!

The design is practical without compromising on safety and quality, and is a great option for mamas with demanding timetables – wait hang on – isn’t that all of us?!

Price: AED 1,895 available at Just Kidding (in store or online)

'To all the moms out there, I was playing for you, and I tried...I just feel like telling all the moms, I had such a long struggle to come back and it was really difficult, and honestly I feel like if I can do it, they can do it. I'm just that person, that vessel that's saying 'you can be whatever you want to be'...' well done Serena Williams 💕 #strongmother rg @theglowdotcom
