The classic story is now appearing onstage, conveyed through an adorable cast of puppets who will faithfully enact four of Carle’s stories: The Artist Who Painted a Blue Horse, Mister Seahorse, The Very Lonely Firefly and of course, the star of the show – The Very Hungry Caterpillar. The performance is sure to delight everyone from the littlies to those still young at heart!

If you’re looking for a not-so-ordinary family night out, then this unique concert will make your weekend an unforgettable one! Head over to Cairo Sound Music Festival to hear popular Egyptian performers playing jazz, reggae, rock and house in their distinctive traditional style (not something you get to listen to every day!). The festival is the initiative of Hi Wave Events, which aims to introduce modern Egyptian culture to the world to foster creativity – here’s to cultural diversity and love for music!

Haven’t got plans for the weekend? Well, now you do! Our friends at Red Crescent are hosting a fun filled family brunch, where families can also enjoy scrumptious treats from the live cooking stations and a dessert buffet prepared by the talented chefs of InterContinental. All proceeds will go to support the wonderful work done by Emirates Red Crescent and other children-centred projects. Every family will receive a delicious gourmet hamper filled with goodies and a picnic mat too – here’s to a relaxing (and meaningful) weekend!
