Bab Al Shams
There’s something very magical about driving into the desert for Christmas Day – and Bab Al Shams gorgeous setting in the dunes is just the ticket. The resorts’ Al ForSan restaurant is offering a family friendly Christmas Day brunch with oodles of entertainment including bouncy castle, magic show, pony and camel rides, carol singing – and of course gifts from Santa. With masses of space for the kiddos to enjoy, this is a perfect option for anyone whose children are happier running riot than sitting at a table (yes, that’s most of us!). And we love the sound of their hybrid menu, combing traditional Christmas dishes with Arabic favourites. A win win all round.

Ruth’s Chris-tmas
A trip to Ruth’s Chris Steak House this Christmas is certainly top of our wish list. The set menu on offer sounds mouthwatering with Fine de Claire oysters and beef carpaccio amongst the appetisers. Enjoy an entrée including the New York Strip (the best Prime cut around!) and then feast on the traditional Christmas Turkey with all the trimmings, such as Yorkshire pud, garlic mash, and Brussels with chestnuts and turkey bacon. Oh and if you have space for dessert, expect New Orleans style bread pudding with a tipple in the sauce – yum! This is our recommendation for those with older kids who are looking for a relaxed meal with their family and who will leave the games and entertainment until when they get home…

Sheraton Christmas Chocoholic Brunch
There is nothing more important at Christmas than indulging in a mountain full of chocolate (come on mamas, we have January to revert to our healthy eating regimes!) so why not try the Christmas Chocoholic Brunch this year. There will of course be a turkey carving station with all the trimmings on offer, but the piece de resistance will be the renowned chocolate room, which will be bursting at the seams. You wont be able to hold the kids back ladies, so don’t even bother trying! If choccies aren’t your thing, then fear not there will be stollen, gingerbread and mince pies aplenty! We can’t wait!

Zuma
If you are not a turkey lover, then fear not. Many of Dubai’s vast range of eateries are offering other meals to feast on and Zuma is sure to be one of our favourites. Think festive Daikoku menus, including wagyu beef, lobster and dishes featuring decadent Alba white truffles. Sound delicious? Well let’s be honest ladies, we are never disappointed at Zuma. The quality of food is always top notch and if you are a Japanese food lover, like us, then you will love dining here on Christmas Day with family and friends, whilst rejoicing in the spirit of the season. One of the classier options around!
