Story Time at Clarion School
In case you didn’t know, a fab new school, Clarion, is coming to our desert city in September! With a completely progressive American curriculum, these experts are getting us excited with all sorts of events – and this week, they are offering us Story Time! That’s right, mamas – bring the little ones along to The Lime Tree Cafe for an afternoon of storytelling, coffee and cookies… Sounds like a party to us! Plus, since Clarion is all about delivering a progressive curriculum to the children of Dubai, their experiential learning curriculum strives to help students gain a lasting understanding of all topics, so we’re excited to see how they bring story tales to life!

Cast of Disney Live in Dubai
Disney’s iconic couple (Mickey and Minnie, of course), are painting the town red for Disney Live: Mickey’s Music Festival! This all-star line-up of more than 25 Disney characters, is bringing us hits from Aladdin, The Little Mermaid and Disney/Pixar’s Toy Story – all remixed to rock, pop, reggae, hip-hop, jazz and country! There’s no way we’re missing out on this one, mamas! To celebrate the upcoming spring holidays, there are even two ‘School’s Out’ special shows with a 20% discount on all ticket categories, taking place at 3:30pm on Wednesday, 6 April and Thursday, 7 April.

The Great Gatsby Night at Gaucho
Promising to please all Fitzgerald fans, Gaucho Film Club is bringing us one of our favourite classic stories: The Great Gatsby! And the best bit about it all? The screening will be interactive – meaning, you get the chance to completely immerse yourself into their lavish 1922 world. Rumour has is that if it’s on the screen, it’ll be on your plate (no, not the lead actor, sadly) – so you can expect plenty of extravagant dishes and plenty of bubbly!

Big Bubble Run
The Big Bubble fun run is the UAE’s first ever foam race! Join in the fun and walk, jog or run your way through a 5K course filled with, you guessed it, lots and lots of bubbles… With face painting, bubble making and even a BIG Bubble show, this is one for the whole fam! We love that they also make safety a top priority so the foam mixture is a unique non-slippery foam solution, using 100% toxic free ingredients, that is safe on the body, skin and the environment: hooray!

Fashion Swap Shop
With a massive range of fashion stalls, you’re sure to source plenty of new items for your spring/summer wardrobe… This vibrant atmosphere really is a fun, energetic place to shop – plus with free mini manicures all day and free hairstyling for all shoppers and swappers – there’s plenty to keep you busy! The is even a restaurant and bar open throughout the market for some festive alfresco dining, and as they’re staying open for dinner, we really have no reason to leave. Happy swapping, mamas!
