You’re Invited: Dubai Nursery Show & Baby Bazaar

It’s one of those parenting milestones that gets your head in a spin and your heart racing faster. Yep mamas, it’s time to enrol the kiddos in nursery school. With so many choices in Dubai and an outpouring of information, the whole process is a little intimidating – how on earth are you supposed to choose where junior will spend his/her early years?! Well we happen to have a fab event in Dubai, perfect for those of you making the first plunge into education for the teenies – or even for any mamas who are looking for a nursery change.

The Dubai Nursery Show & Baby Bazaar on 24-25 April is a free event showcasing 30 of some of the best nurseries in the desert city and you’ll be able to put faces to the brochures and websites you’ve been trawling, as well as ask your burning questions. You’ll naturally have a few! With friendly staff representing each of the schools, they’ll be able to walk you through their ethos, curriculum, facilities and what they can offer you and your family to help you arrive at the best possible choice for your kiddo. After all, it’s a big step to take with such tiny feet and not one to be taken lightly.

So who’s involved, mamas? British Orchard Nursery, Hopscotch Nursery, Bright Sparks ELC and Safari Kids are just a few of the schools you can expect to greet you at the event (see the full list). It’s also all being held in collaboration with the beloved Baby Bazaar where mamas can sell or buy amazing pre-loved baby, toddler and maternity items – either turning a profit or scoring great items at a fraction of the price. And while mama and papa wander around with notepads, the tots can have a whale of a time over at the fun activities and entertainment spread out throughout the show.

• What curriculum do you follow at your nursery?
• What is the maximum number of children allocated to a classroom for my child’s age group?
• When selecting your staff, what criteria is important? Or
