Workout gear from Stadium

Remember the days when a workout meant an old t-shirt and mega unflattering jogging bottoms? These days dressing for the gym or studio is so much more about fashion and looking as good as you’re trying to feel. If you haven’t checked out Stadium yet then do it mamas – a fab store that brings together over 48 of the world’s biggest sports brands, they often have really great flash sales and you’ll find everything from swimmers to running gear. Even if you’re just wearing it to the school gate and back (we won’t tell).

Honestly the best brekkie we’ve had in ages – head to the Dubai Mall branch if you’ve got shopping to do or sit out on the terrace at The Beach, JBR and soak up the views of the ocean. The poached eggs with avocado and salmon were so good that I dream about them – and the Greek inspired options including greek yoghurt and berries, grilled halloumi, a mezze platter and other scrummy stuff just looked too delicious not to come back for.

Pizza with my eldest at Jones The Grocer’s new pizza classes

At only AED 100 for 1 adult plus 1 kiddo, an hour and a half of fun and 2 yummy pizzas to eat at the end this is a great way to spend one-on-one time with the littles, especially now that the weather is heating up. Highly recommend!

The opening of The Cereal Killer Café

A café that only serves cereal? Yup, already a hit in London, it’s coming to our desert city soon and we’re intrigued! And if the Blighty version is anything to go by then you’ll be able to choose from around 120 different cereal options (lucky charms anyone?), 20 toppings and 30 varieties of milk. Sounds pretty cool to us – because sometimes nothing but a bowl of cereal will do.Watch this space for dates and deets mamas!

The final reveal of Dubai Opera

Set to open this year, Dubai Opera is shaping up beautifully and we are SO excited! A 2,000 seat, multi-format performing art centre that’s shaped like a traditional dhow in Downtown Dubai – the stunning venue is going to offer everything from theatre to opera, ballet to concerts plus exhibitions and other cultural events. Date night is going to take on a new dimension!
