Having kids doesn’t change the fact that we love heading to brunch on a Friday, right, mamas? But these days, our priorities have changed. We not only want a delicious spread of fine food and free-flowing beverages to keep the grown-ups happy, but also a fun-packed schedule of games and entertainment, along with kid-friendly bites to please the smaller members of the gang too! We’ve found the perfect place, so get ready to transform your Fridays at Mövenpick Hotel Ibn Battuta Gate.
Between 12.30pm and 4.00pm each week, the Friday brunch takes place in Al Bahou (roughly translating to ‘The Great Hall’), complete with 90-metre high ceilings and atmospheric lanterns casting a magical light. Take your pick from the tempting choice of live cooking stations (not to mention an entire room dedicated just to desserts, mamas!). With every restaurant in the hotel contributing to the spread, the choices include Italian, Pan-Asian, and Indian dishes plus loads more (are you licking your lips yet?!).
And what about the kids? They’ll have the most fun of all, with a fun-packed afternoon of face painting, movie screenings, a bouncy castle, and schedule of interactive activities. Plus the healthy (but seriously yummy) ‘Power Bites’ buffet to keep little tummies full and happy throughout the afternoon.
Don’t want it to end, mamas? No problem, as the Friday Brunch at Mövenpick Hotel Ibn Battuta Gate has the option of extending the family fun in the Majlis Lounge from 4-8pm, with unlimited selected beverages for just 199 AED per adult (hooray!).
And did we mention that the hotel’s Camel Kid’s Club is available to little brunch guests right up to 9pm every Friday? We don’t know about you mamas, but we can’t wait until the weekend!
The Friday Brunch at Mövenpick Hotel Ibn Battuta Gate runs every week from 12.30pm to 4pm in Al Bahou. Pay 325 AED per person (with soft beverages), 425 AED (with selected house beverages) and 599 AED per person (with selected house beverages and French bubbly). Children between 7 and 12 years of age are charged at 160 AED, whilst those 3 to 6 years old are just 45 AED (kids under 2 dine for free). Extend the brunch by paying 199 AED for unlimited selected beverages between 4-8pm in the Majlis Lounge.
