Time To Brunch!
Whether you love a huge buffet style spread or you prefer your food brought to the table (and if you have a huge gaggle of kids tagging along or you’re catching up with your gal pals), we’ve rounded up some of the best new brunches in Dubai so that all you have to do is book and enjoy! You’re welcome.
With celeb chef Gordon Ramsay at the helm of Bread Street Kitchen, the food at this Atlantis hotspot is bound to be good (expect all the British classics from Fisn ‘n Chips to traditional roasts), but there’s so much more that makes this one of the best family friendly brunches in town.
First up, sharing starters, main courses and desserts are brought to your table so there’s none of that wandering around huge buffets for hours (hooray!), which means plenty more time for chatting and fun. Secondly, the kids get to try out some awesome activities including a cooking masterclass. Best of all, the little ones are whisked off to enjoy The Lost Chambers Aquarium as part of the deal so that you can finish your meal in peace while they get up close and personal with some ver cool sea creatures. Sound amazing? We think so!
Family Brunch – Fridays 12.30pm – 4pm
AED 335 per person with selected alcoholic beverages
AED 225 per person with non-alcoholic beverages
AED 95 per child

Dukesy’s Family Brunch at West 14th has got to be one of the best brunches we’ve tried with kiddies in tow, and here’s why: firstly, the brunch includes all day access to a stunning infinity pool overlooking the ocean and Dubai Marina, so you can build up an appetite before tucking in. Then there’s the lazy river for floating along under palm trees in a giant donut (for after lunch perhaps?)… perfect!
And that’s not all. Kids have a dedicated space complete with whatever they might like to eat (chocolate fountain included), bean bags and a screen playing movies. There’s a big bouncy castle out on the grass, activities including cupcake decorating and face painting to choose from and you can also check them into the kids club for a little while if you just need to sit and finish that glass of bubbles without wiping chocolate from faces (we hear you!). And with live BBQ stations, salads and a not-too-huge but totally delicious buffet selection all set in a very relaxed atmosphere, this is the perfect place to kick-back and spend the day.
Dukesy’s Brunch – Fridays 10am – 6pm (brunch served 1pm -4pm)
AED 369 per person with selected alcoholic beverages
AED 195 per person with non-alcoholic beverages
AED 97 per child (6 – 11 years) – under 5’s go free
There’s plenty of hype about El Chiringuito at Rixos, The Palm, and for good reason! A slice of Ibiza here in Dubai, the decor is simply dreamy (think billowing white fabric, flowers, dream catchers and sun-bleached wood). And as for the food? A-MA-ZING!
Brunch is a table-served affair that includes Spanish dishes such as paella, grilled seafood, goats cheese salad and carpaccio for the grown-ups and pasta, homemade burgers or grilled chicken for the kidlettes. This place is all about long lazy lunching, glass of sangria in hand. And if the kids get restless, a little Chiringuito’s kids club is available for really cute activities including planting up flower pots for mama to take home (activities might change depending on which day you go on). With a beach club and pool included as part of the brunch package, there’s the opportunity to spend a whole day here (pretending to be in the Balearic Islands). We love.
El Chiringuito La Familia Brunch – Saturdays 12pm – 4pm
AED 495 per person with selected alcoholic beverages (bubbles upgrade available)
AED 395 per person with non-alcoholic beverages

There’s something ever so civilised about The Four Seasons, Jumeirah, and their Friday brunch is no exception. Located in the vibrant, market-style restaurant Suq, this brunch combines the best of all cuisines with delicious food stations and dishes brought to your table too.
We (and the kids!) loved freshly shucked oysters served up by super friendly and very glam girls from The Oyster Elite Co which came round as often as you wanted them to, and steaming hot risotto served by the chef himself from a giant parmesan wheel. There’s also an amazing seafood selection, delicious British-style roasts and literally almost everything else you can think of!
For kids, order whatever they might fancy from your waiter and they’ll even take it over to a dedicated kiddie zone complete with movie screen and colouring. For pudding, treat them to ice-creams with all kinds of toppings. Choose to sit indoors or on the outside terrace overlooking beautiful gardens. Brunch here is casual yet elegant; we loved the relaxed vibe and the faultless service.
Four Seasons Suq Brunch – Fridays 1pm – 4pm
AED 500 per person with selected alcoholic beverages (bubbles upgrade available)

Located in the heart of Dubai Parks and Resorts, Lapita is a Polynesian-themed resort hotel, with a tribal theme (think Moana). And while it’s quite a mission to get to (it took us about 3o minutes from the Jumeirah area), the fab thing about this brunch is that it comes with access to two outdoor pools, a lazy river and the Luna and Nova kids and teens clubs so that you can spend a whole day Polynesian style!
Brunch itself is lovely. We recommend sitting outside while the weather’s nice (the music indoors was a tad loud too… or are we just getting really old?!). There are buffet stations indoors and all sorts of scrummy things going on in the fresh-air too, including the most delicious roast beef and Yorkshire pudding set up and freshly pulled noodles.
For kids, a huge outdoor area complete with kiddie food and all sorts of activities is within eyesight and will keep your littles entertained, safe and happy. There are complimentary neck and shoulder massages when you just feel like escaping from it all for a few minutess. Polynesian paradise!
Lapita Daycation Brunch – Fridays 1pm – 5pm

AED 195 per person with non-alcoholic beverages
AED 95 kids (aged 6-12)
Um… brunch on a Sunday?! Have we gone mad?! Well, actually no we haven’t. This new option is the perfect way to spend a day with your friends, with visiting family, even with your hubby (date day?!) but probably not the kids who’ll most likely be at school!
If you haven’t been to Nikki Beach yet then do it… soon! Already a hotspot in cities including St. Tropez, Miami and Ibiza, this beach club venue has now taken Dubai by storm and it’s completely gorgeous and possibly just the kind of place you want to spend a few hours after a hectic weekend.
With a guest DJ spinning chilled out tunes, live performances and a complimentary pool bed after you’ve finished dining, this might well become a Sunday sassy hangout… just find someone else to do school pickup!

If you’re looking for mass catering and oodles of kiddie activities then it may not be for you, but if you want to dine like a queen with your fam and have a really lovely lunch out then it sounds like an absolute winner. We can’t wait to try it with our kiddos in tow. Time to practice with those chopsticks, and remind them that the wasabi is best not eaten in one go…

We love picnics and BBQ’s and lunches with a view, so this new al fresco brunch at Crowne Plaza Festival City sounds like the perfect option. Set on the level 5, the grassed outdoor area is transformed into a picnic wonderland every Friday, complete with benches, umbrellas, picnic rugs and cushions plus a fab pantry idea where you and your little ones can load up your wicker baskets with all sorts of scrummy treats including sandwiches, salads and artisan cheeses.
Want something hot? A BBQ offers everything from king prawns to lamb chops AND there’s a smoker for ribs and beef brisket (oh, and a pork selection if that’s your thing). Kids can have their own party in a designated zone while you sip on a glass of fizz, and you can all raid the ‘sweet shop’ for ice-cream and candy floss to finish off with. We love.

Okay, so it’s not new BUT Ting Irie has just got its alcohol license so this brunch may now appeal if a glass of something cold is what’s needed at the end of your week!
Dubai’s first and most colourful Jamaican dining spot in the heart of Downtown Dubai serves up traditional island ingredients and spices (plus now a rum cocktail or two). Think family sharing plates of jerk chicken and Jamaican patties with sides of slaw and rice ‘n beans, laid-back reggae vibes and vibrant colourful interiors. A kiddie area including colouring books and toys will keep younger diners (over 3 as this area isn’t supervised) entertained.
