Check it all out below!

Babysouk

This parenting website is one that does it all: strollers, bibs and even home decor for the kiddos. With a fab online order and home delivery service, you don’t have to worry about lugging it all back and forth – though you can opt to just collect it from their warehouse as well. We’ve seen this little rabbit nightlight all over our Instagram recently (as well as in our Sassy Mama Dani’s fab bedroom makeover) and it’s been sitting in our wishlist for way too long… And come on mamas, this girly tepee is totally the stuff our six year old dreams were made of.

Bloomingdale’s Home

And how could we leave out Bloomingdale’s Home? This upscale department store stocks some fantastic home pieces that have all been carefully curated, alongside their own exclusive Bloomingdales range. We’re not going to lie, it is going to be a pretty penny but with kind of style and quality, it’s an investment worth making. We love their 1872 Trevarno Collection duvet and the quirky cool Regina-Andrews Design Gold Leaf Puzzle Set.

The Bowery Company

We could sing this online brand’s praises all day long! This Dubai-based company is one that’s absolutely bang on trend with distressed antique frames, warm brass and copper furniture and no shortage of inspirational typography wowing cool cats all across the board. Grab some fab pieces here before everyone else finds out! (Tip: if you spend over AED 500 you get free shipping.)

Crate & Barrel

This American export is one that’s a favourite with mamas all over the world and we’re super stoked that they’re here in Dubai. They’re all about the classics, meaning that you’ll be investing in timeless pieces that’ll always look good, whether you’re going for the big furniture pieces or smaller bits of decor. We love the Starburst Bowl which would look totally awesome on a low coffee table and the cosy yet cool Pennie Sofa. Did we mention they have a totally adorable kids section too?

Dubizzle

The saviour of mamas on a budget everywhere in the UAE, Dubizzle’s a cross between eBay and Craigslist where you’ll be able to grab gorgeous second hand goods at a fraction of the price. Skip past the property and jobs sections and chart a course for the Classifieds listings, where you’ll be able to grab everything from musical instruments to knick knacks for your garden. Caroline Bayly from our That Mama’s Crib feature swears by them!

Ethan Allen

This quality furniture brand from the States is all about beautiful quality one piece at a time and it’s even more stunning given that it’s all handmade. The team on hand are all interior designers themselves (psst, you can get a free interior design consultation with them) and they stock a number of classic shapes for you to fill your home with.

H&M Home

When the news broke that this lifestyle giant was hitting the UAE, we were one of the first ones to scramble over for a sneak peek. It’s been all the rage overseas for affordable home chic that’s very much on trend, with a simple and clean design aesthetic for all your soft furnishings and home accessories. (Yeah, sorry ladies, they don’t do the heavy duty stuff here.) This white pineapple candle would be gorgeous in a bedroom and you can keep your favourite family photo in this vintage inspired gold frame for safekeeping.

Indigo Living

This international home styling brand is one that we’re big fans of, even across the water with our sisters at Sassy Mama Hong Kong. With a distinctly East meets West design aesthetic, their pieces are stunning additions to every home and you can even hit them up for a styling session or rent furniture from them if you’re not keen on totally committing. We’re in love with the refreshing Green Emperor Chair and the very NYC-chic brass Jolson Bookcase.

Ikea

And how could we leave Ikea off the list? This universally beloved furniture store is chock full of easy to assemble pieces for the whole family and, happily, they won’t break the bank either. We’ve got a few here in Dubai and if you’re a little bereft of design inspiration, take a wander through their carefully executed showrooms – just remember to bring a pencil to jot all the funky names down!

ikonhouse

Definitely one of the cooler kids on the block, ikonhouse is known for their timelessly trendy aesthetic (a bit of an oxymoron but they definitely make it work). With gorgeous pieces of super high quality, they’re perfect for a dose of understated sophistication – Rebecca De Courcy-Ireland from our That Mama feature swears by their wishbone chairs.

Always a favourite with Dubai mamas, Marina Home Interiors is always full of amazing pieces and oddities that’ll add a dose of character to your home. We’ve seen MarMarLand blowing up on the Instagram accounts of interior design darlings like LiveLoudGirl and with good reason. This entirely online furniture destination revolves around helping you create dream homes for the kiddos, with chic curated items to step the kiddos rooms up a notch. We’re particularly loving their new Spear Baskets, perfect for chucking the toys into after play time, and of course their beautiful The Dorm shelves.

Ahh, is there anything more calming than Japanese minimalism? Muji’s renowned worldwide for their simple and clean aesthetic, creating everything from reed diffusers to that crisp, sleek bedsheets – it’s all no nonsense stuff in zen neutrals that’ll slot into any room without a fuss. It’s also not too pricey which is always a plus in our books. (Psst… their clear mini drawers are perfect for organising make-up!)

With beautiful pieces sourced from all over the world from places as diverse as Turkey and South Africa, there’s a super eclectic range which will satisfy every family’s interior design hunger. the one interiors

The One

The story behind this brand’s a little tongue in cheek, as its founder Thomas Lundgren insists that an angel came to him and asked him to ‘save the world from Ikea’. While we adore Ikea, we never mind a few more amazing furniture companies and The One is exactly that. With a super eclectic collection and four different ranges (the signature on-trend The One collection, the more avant garde Fusion and straightforward Junior and Outdoor labels), there’s sure to be something to shake up every home for the better.

The One, Fusion Al Quoz Theatre & Café, Junction 3 Sheikh Zayed Road, Al Quoz 1, Street 4b, Dubai, see all locations here

Peppers Furnishing

Sometimes the hardest things to grab a hold of are the simple pieces, but Peppers Furnishing will have you sorted with their colour blocked couches and ottomans. Looking to jazz things up a bit? They’ve also got some fantastic rugs and bold vases you can get a hold of – we’re particularly loving that you can order it all online and get it delivered straight to your door.

Pinkys

This Indian furniture brand is one that’s a time old hit with families in Dubai – in fact, Rebecca De Courcy-Ireland and Mukta Uttamchandani from our That Mama’s Crib interviews are big fans. (The antique white mirror from Mukta’s home above is in fact from Pinkys – we’re in love.) Their range is almost entirely comprised of gorgeously detailed wooden furniture; this bench would be gorgeous in a back garden while this fun cabinet is the perfect place to store mama’s Friday night grape juice…

Pomme Kids

Liven up the kiddos playrooms with these adorable wooden chairs, desks and benches by Pomme Kids. They come in a number of delicate pastels with a number of cut outs ranging from stars to hearts, and the benches have a sneaky little compartment that serves as a toy box as well. Multi-functionality and a dash of interior whimsy – is there really any reason to say no?

Pottery Barn

Pottery Barn’s all about helping you create a beautiful and inviting home, one that you and your family will be happy to come home to every day. There’s colour to spare here for mamas who want to stray off the neutral path and their kiddo collection is absolutely adorable as well. Want to see some of these gorgeous pieces in action? Check out our That Mama’s Crib feature with Laura Davison who swears by them.

Sand Interior

Once you ignore the somewhat glaring typo on their front page (sorry, we’re a little big on grammar here), Sand Interior stocks up on gorgeous indoor and outdoor rustic furnishings perfect for lazing about in. Everything on selection looks lovably lived-in and cosy, whether you’re taking a peek at their antique, old industrial or – our favourite – the warm repurposed wine crate line. Using the coolest materials from our ‘hood, their bookshelves made from old wood and the brassy upcycled ship deck lamp here would look stellar in a bedroom or lounge. This one’s a little odd in that they’ve phased out their actual website and are using their Facebook page to do business, so you just need to comment on a piece of furniture you like then check your personal message inbox when they respond.

This Dubai-based Etsy shop is one that’s stocked to the brim with cool decals for you to pop on your walls. From bat signals to hot air balloons to Arabic calligraphy, they’ve got a range of items perfect for sprucing up the tots’ bedrooms.
