Mama & Party Camel Founder Aisha Chats To Us About Kiddo Party Trends For 2018

What do we love? Parties! Oh and supporting mama owned businesses too. So we’ve called upon Aisha Leitner, founder of fabulous party concert store Party Camel which offers a huge range of stylish partyware for every kind of celebration, to tell us what themes and accessories are trending for kids birthday party planners this year.

What’s Trending and hot for 2018:

The world of party ware is super exciting at the moment!  There’s no need to opt for the same old balloons and bunting to celebrate your kids this year when you can get creative with some really cool accessories and themes that are guaranteed to make your party pop.

First up? Some of last year’s trends which are still going strong well into 2018. We’re talking flamingos, mermaids, pineapples, pretty pastel colours and anything tropical or with a palm leaf – no matter if it’s decoration, plates or napkins – these are all still super popular!
Check out the flamingo range at Party Camel and be prepared to add a hint of tropicana and a whole lot of pretty to your party.

Of course unicorns are here to stay and they are soooo magical too – which little girl isn’t going to love a unicorn themed special day?! From party bags to napkins, balloons to candles, we’re seeing loads of new additions to our unicorn range of party ware and lots more interest in this theme from mamas and kids too (our unicorn horns are awesome and suitable for the young and the young at heart!).  We believe in unicorns but we also believe in fairies and mermaids – and all of these whimsical, fantastical themes are strong for this year and perfect for little ones looking for something magical.

Tired of unicorns and al that stuff (as if you could ever be, mamas!) – then try the  “We love Swans” range as well as our range of partyware “good vibes” only and a  whole new Boho range for SS18, based around the Llama (this year’s coolest animal), with Frida Kahlo cups!! How boho, how cool we say and as perfect for a kids birthday party as for a garden event for all ages.

And finally, remember that balloons have come a long way since their early days – and a few in different shape and sizes are ever increasingly popular plus so effective too Try the giant confetti balloons or marble effect versions plus number balloons with pretty tassles to add a little special something to your party and guarantee the cutest photos too.

And a big tip? Buy  a cake topper and you’re good to go with a cake picked up last minute from the supermarket 😉 No one would know and you’ll be saving a fortune – honestly!
